Prevent Foul Body Odor with Ayurvedic Remedies Body odor means an unpleasant smell produced by the body. It is immaterial whether you sweat or not, but in most cases it is seen that a sweaty body produces more foul odor. Each person has different body odors. The immediate way out from this problem is to take a shower and wear clean clothes. However, the body odor can return immediately. Proper hygiene is very important to avoid body odor. Avoid eating foods that are difficult to digest. Avoid spicy, oily, and fatty foods and instead, include fresh fruits that are rich in vitamin C. You should drink plenty of water daily. Neem leaves are the best for any skin disorders. You can prepare a paste by grinding neem leaves and apply it on the skin. Drinking neem tea will help to purify the blood.

Lemon helps in destroying bacteria present on your skin. Drinking lemon juice will not only take good care of your skin but also improves proper digestion.

Rosemary is an herb that has anti­bacterial properties. You can use ten drops of its essential oil in a little quantity of water and apply it on your body for preventing body odor.

Tea tree oil has antibiotic properties. You can apply this oil on your skin. You can also add a few drops of oil in a little quantity of water and applied on the areas where you sweat more.

Applying rose water also is good for the skin and prevents body odor. You can add rose water in your bath tub and take bath to avoid body odor. You can also use sandalwood oil instead of rose water.

You can apply apple cider vinegar on your skin to prevent body odor. It works as a deodorant.

Baking soda helps in killing the bacteria. You can apply baking soda on the armpits and feet.
