More fires at Wyevale:

Tesco car meet update:

Residents are rightly concerned about the number of fires at Wyevale in recent weeks. The Council’s Neighbourhood Enforcement team have asked us to relay contact details so that local residents can easily report any incident, not only fires but also information about the dumping of waste.

If you live near the store, you will be only too aware that Sunday nights have become intolerable with noisy, late night car meets in the car park. We received numerous complaints from local residents which prompted us to get in touch with the police, Council and Tesco in order to find a solution.

Using this number will ensure an alert is provided to the team, causing an officer to attend the site in question (if available): NET Going Now Number: 0117 9222 500 Reference to quote: 424877 (Complainants will have to provide their name and phone number). Tesco management have agreed to fit barriers across the entrances to the car park, which will be lowered when the store closes on Sunday evenings. This will take some time to implement so in the interim they will place vehicles at the entrances to the car park to stop the car meets.
