Very Easy Sukodu Sudoku is a simple game of logic, whose name originated in Japan. The object is to complete the grid such that every row, every column, and every 3x3 block contains the digits from 1 to 9. No mathematics is required to solve the puzzles, just pure logic and reasoning.

Summer Car Maintenance Checklist By working your way through a summer car maintenance checklist, your car will be prepared for the season’s driving conditions, and keep running as efficiently as possible.

“Some breakdowns aren’t preventable, but..” The roads and weather are very different in summer compared to winter, and journeys are often longer. These factors impact on vehicle performance, as well as wear and tear. During periods of hot weather, some breakdowns aren’t preventable, but if motorists inspect their vehicles regularly, especially before long journeys and in extreme weather conditions, some could be.

Check yourself: 1. All wiper blades for wear or splitting 2. Windscreen washer fluid level and washer jet adjustment 3. Oil and coolant levels following the instructions in the owner’s handbook 4. The electric cooling fan – run the engine until it’s up to temperature and listen for the fan switching on 5. All exterior and interior lights 6. Tyre condition (inc. the spare) for correct pressures and legal tread depth – the current minimum legal tread depth for cars is 1.6mm 7. Jack and wheel brace – make sure they’re in good working order.

Have your garage check:

“so it’s up to you to have it checked”

• Cooling system – a leaking cooling system or inoperative cooling fan could cause extensive damage to the

engine. • Air Conditioning system for efficency and operation. Air conditioning checks are not part of your cars annual service so it’s up to you to have it checked, with any car over two years old able to benefit from a re-gas.*in line with the manufacturer’s recommendations to keep it as good as new. • Auxiliary belt/fan belt.

Summer Car Maintenance Checklist cont. “Plan your journey to avoid getting lost or getting stuck in traffic jams” Prepare yourself properly if travelling long distances in the summer: 1. Make sure you have a spare set of keys for your vehicle in a safe place 2. If you plan to take a caravan, check the tyre condition and the braking system 3. Never overload your vehicle or caravan beyond the designed carrying capacity. 4. Take plenty of water and refreshments, and take regular breaks – research service stations along your journey before setting off 5. Take sun cream in case you break down 6. If you have children, take some games you can play in the car 7. Rest sufficiently before travelling – driving straight after a full working day is not advised. 8. We recommend that you carry these essentials in your car: • • • • • • • • •

A first aid kit A high quality torch, preferably with long life and spare batteries A warning triangle A high visibility vest/jacket A fire extinguisher A spare fuel can A light bulb kit Additional engine oil, water and windscreen wash (for topping up) An up-to-date road map or sat navigation system.

Other considerations: It may be useful to practice changing the spare wheel, following instructions in your owner’s handbook. You just never know when you will need to do it, We can show you on your own vehicle, if you’r interested in this. Happy Travels.

Summer Foods cont. 12 Salads with Dark, Leafy Greens

Leave steamed veggies behind and fill up on fresh, raw spinach and kale come summer to save your skin. Carotenoids in orange and dark-green foods, which your body converts to vitamin A, protect skin from sun damage. They decrease sensitivity to UV light and mend flaky and dry skin, strengthening the skin’s defences against damaging rays. Spruce up your salad with other high-carotenoid sources, like carrots, apricots, cantaloupe, watermelon, tomatoes, pink grapefruit, salmon, milk, egg yolks and cayenne pepper, to make an even healthier meal.

13 Strawberries and Blueberries

Sweet, juicy berries are filled with flavonoids, powerful disease fighters found in many fruits and vegetables. Among their other pros, they increase blood flow to skin and decrease sensitivity to light, which improves skin’s appearance, structure and texture. With more daylight hours and time spent in the sun, that’s key. And because berries are so high in flavonoids, one recent study showed they might help slow cognitive decline. Other great sources of skin-boosting flavonoids: bananas, citrus fruits, broccoli, artichokes, walnuts, pistachios, cashew, dill and thyme.

14 Nuts

Snacking on handfuls of almonds, cashews, and peanuts to get your fill of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, which are thought to lower bad cholesterol levels.

15 Avocados

Although it could be lumped in with nuts as a healthy source of monounsaturated fat, it’s such a superfood it deserves a placeholder of its own. If I were on a desert island, I would want to be there with an avocado tree because they’re so good for the heart and overall wellness.

16 Salmon

Considering the healthiest foods for women, you always think of the Mediterranean diet because it makes the most sense in reducing heart disease, the most common cause of death in women. Eat plenty of protein from fish like salmon, which is also high in Omega 3. (Pictured: barbecue teriyaki salmon with avocados, tomatoes, and brown rice.)

Lime wedge, plus 2 lime wheels for garnish 1 tablespoon coarse salt, for glass rims 4 ounces high quality white tequila 2 ounces Cointreau 1 1/2 ounces fresh juice from 2 limes

P.V.P. 10,82 €

Method 1. Run lime wedge around the outer rims of two rocks glasses and dip rims in salt. Set aside. 2. In cocktail shaker, combine tequila, Cointreau, and lime juice. Fill with ice and shake until thoroughly chilled, about 15 seconds (the bottom of a metal shaker should frost over). 3. Fill glasses with fresh ice and strain margarita into both glasses. Garnish with lime wheels and serve.

Pour sugar and lime juice into a cocktail shaker and stir until sugar is dissolved. Add the rum and fill shaker with ice; shake well for 10 seconds and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Vino Blanco Joven y Fresco Young Fresh White Wine

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add vodka, triple sec, cranberry, and lime, and shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with orange twist.

Old Fashioned

1 teaspoon (5g) superfine sugar (or 1 sugar cube) 2 to 3 dashes bitters (Angostura is traditional and works well) 2 ounces (60ml) bourbon or rye whiskey Orange and/or cherry, to garnish (optional) Method 1. Place sugar in an Old Fashioned glass. Douse with bitters and add a few drops of water. Add whiskey and stir until sugar is dissolved. Add several large ice cubes and stir rapidly with a bar spoon to chill. Garnish, if you like, with a slice of orange and/or a cherry.

odegas Collado are delighted to present a fantastic new wine to our range. It is called Contratiempo 2016.

Category: Young White Wine Variety: Moscatel de Alejandria 100% Area: El Puerto de Santa Maria, Cadiz Size: 75cl Grown on the white, chalky ‘albariza’ soil of Finca La Blanquita, El Puerto de Santa Maria, is born Contratiempo. A young white wine made from 100% Moscatel de Alejandria grapes, with a spontaneous fermentation during the first few days and then later channelled using a selected raising agent until all of the sugar has been eliminated. It then sits to rest for 5 months within a stainless-steel cask to stabilise the natural wine. There are no purifying agents used in the process. With an alcoholic volume of 12.5% we get a young fresh wine, floral on the nose, with hints of melon, lychee and apricots… very aromatic. Smooth and round with an acidity and a note of bitterness to give it a longer finish. Also hints of salinity and minerals provided by the alberiza soil. Allowing the wine to air in the glass releases more notes of jasmin and nectar.

Sea Life Benalmadena

Never leave your dog in a car, glass conservatory or a caravan and groom him/her regularly to get rid of excess hair. Your dog will still need to be exercised every day, so walk him/her early in the morning or later in the evening when it’s cooler. Never allow your dog to exercise excessively in hot weather. Keep off hot pavement, black asphalt attracts the suns UV rays and traps heat, making the surface temperature skyrocket. If you pet steps on hot pavement, he could burn his paws.

Selwo Adventure Safari Park

Km. 162,5, Las Lomas del Monte Estepona. Animal adventure, amusement, animation and activities, see tigers, elephants, bears, there are more than 2000 animals to see living in semi liberty.

Fortify against fleas and ticks, make sure your dog or cat is on proper flea medication since these pesky pests thrive in warm temperatures.

If you have to leave your dog outside, you must provide a cool shady spot where he/ she can escape from the sun at all times of the day with a good supply of drinking water, in a weighted bowl that can’t be knocked over. Dogs are more prone to heat stroke because they don’t sweat like us, they mainly cool themselves through panting. Doggy pools are a great way to help cool them down. Fence off big pools to avoid drowning, unless there are shallow areas for them to climb out of easily.
