BEAUTY TIPS FOR SUMMER Summer Hair Repair: Limp Locks
Pump volume into straight or fine hair by adding a weekly clarifying shampoo and skipping conditioner (or applying it only to your ends). Also, take a break from the blow-dryer to let your hair air-dry. “Many people with fine, straight hair actually have a slight wave that adds body
Tackle Shine
Replace your rich cleanser and face cream with a foaming gel and an oil-free daily lotion that has a minimum SPF 15. Carry a compact for midday touch-ups but don’t cover your entire face with powder. Let your cheeks glow and just freshen the center of your face.
Lighten Up
Skip thick foundations and save your cream lipsticks for autumn. Makeup with a lighter texture—tinted moisturizer, cheek stain, bronzing gel, and lip gloss—will wear better in the heat and keep you looking fresh. And prep with primer: it’s worth the extra step. Primer fills in fine lines, helps makeup go on more smoothly and, best of all, keeps it in place. Apply a thin layer to your skin, lids, even lips, so your tinted moisturizer, eyeshadow, and lip color don’t move.

CAR TIPS FOR SUMMER Scorching steering wheel?
Prevent burning your hands with this trick: Turn the wheel 180 degrees before getting out of the car. That way, the side you touch is safely in the shade while you’re out.
Hot interior?
Cool down more quickly by driving with the windows rolled down and the air cranked up, which forces out the hot air and allows the cool air to circulate. In a few minutes, when the air inside the car should be about the same temperature as the air outside, you’re ready to roll up the windows.

7 CAR TIPS FOR SUMMER 1. Sitting in traffic on a hot day is not a good time for your car’s air conditioning to run out of refrigerant. 2. Corroded battery terminals prevent your car from running at its best. 3. Repairing brake problems early can prevent larger issues later on and keep you and your family safe when you’re driving 4. You should replace your car’s air filter every 19,312 kilometers. 5. If a hose breaks or a belt snaps, your car may overheat. 6. Check your car’s oil often. 7. Make sure to check your tire pressure regularly with an accurate gauge.

Reflection of Old Vineyards
In 2009, two leaders in the Spanish wine industry, the Masaveu family and Mariano Garcia with his son Edward, joined the House of Leda to revitalize the region and produce wines reflecting the full potential of the different vineyards of old vines scattered over the Valle del Duero. The Leda region has a rich history, up to 100 years, but is deep rooted in poor soils with low yields that never exceed 4,000 kilos per hectare. Leda Viñas Viejas is made from different crops of old Tempranillo vines from 50 to 100 years old, with a yield of 3,000 kg per hectare. Harvested by hand and fermented separately for 20 days. Malolactic fermentation is created within the barrels then transferred to French oak barrels to be aged for 22 months. Tasting notes: cherry in colour with a high layer and purple trim, plenty of dense and inky legs. Nose: ripe black fruit, minerals, undergrowth, vanilla, coffee, chocolate and balsamic. This wine has a powerful entrance with a lot of volume, powerful tannins and in turn well-polished, good acidity, slightly bitter with a very long lasting finish.
