PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE ‘Learning gives Creativity, Creativity leads to Thinking, Thinking provides Knowledge, Knowledge makes you Great.’ -Abdul Kalam Being ‘Great’ is not only to achieve greatness, but to feel great which comes from positive thinking. Our thinking is the one what makes us. We need to Think Big and should have out of the box ideas.

Creativity is contagious, so let it spread the intellectual infection. To develop your intellectual creativity one must be a voracious reader ….. reading voraciously …… like a little caterpillar eating voraciously for its survival forming a cocoon ….. Cocoon of knowledge around itself later turning into a beautiful butterfly free to fly high towards the unlimited sky to explore the aimed destinations. Dear Students, follow your creative instincts to create your own understanding of being unique individual. Implement what you dream. The great aim of Education is to put your creative knowledge to action ….. If done so surely ‘Success is Guaranteed’ Keep succeeding ….. always …… all our best wishes  (Dr. S. Reshma) Principal

HEAD MISTRESS VIEW POINTS Skills and knowledge are crucial for the overall development of the child. Skills have become even more important given the increasing pace of globalization and technological changes. This change provides both challenges and the need to face the risks and changes that are taking place in the world today. Skill building can be viewed as a tool to improve the efficacy and contribution towards the cut throat competition in the national and international market. It is this skill building requirement that we focus on in TIA Sharjah so that our students are successful in today’s world. Skill building is an instrument which empowers young individuals to improve their skills and keep pace with the global changes around the world. (Ms. Mini Tripathi) HeadMistress

KINDERGARTEN SUPERVISOR SPEAKS‌‌ The purpose of education at kindergarten is to teach children a rich, meaningful, and balanced curriculum of skills and information through age-appropriate activities. Varied activities aimed at targeting children with various learning styles are a part and parcel of the curriculum. As we come out with our first edition of the e-magazine it gives me great pleasure to see the school grow from strength to strength. All this would not have been possible without the parents support. I wish to thank you all for having entrusted us with the responsibility of educating your child. (Ms. Franak Kheshwalla)

VIEW POINTS English Coordinator Our aim is to inculcate and imbibe in the students the love for reading books in this fast paced world of technology. The development of 4 skills in English is a must. To make the children understand that ‘it’s a world of English language’. (Ms. Swati Eusebius) Activity in charge Our motive is to inculcate in the students a healthy competitive spirit leading to the all round holistic development of the child. (Ms. Nandini Sapre)

SCIENCE COORDINATOR SPEAKS…. “One of the very important characteristics of a student is to question. Let the students ask questions.”-Dr. Abdul Kalam The Science curriculum at TIAS offers students the opportunity to be curious, to question, to investigate, to formulate hypothesis, design and carry out experiments, make critical observations and record results. The objective is to convey the message that science is not the exclusive domain of a selected few, but is equally a matter of consideration for every human being. (Ms. Jyotsna Rolston)

Behavioral problems in the students is identified through the Behavior Modification Plan. Different behavior modification methods are used such as Positive Reinforcement, Rewards, Building Positive relationship between teacher and students, Developing Interpersonal relationship, positive peer relationship, Individual Counseling, Group Counseling, Self Monitoring of Behavior, Cognitive Behavior Therapy.

A few strategies used to develop personal and social skill among children are listed below:Modeling positive social skills include showing our children how we need to speak to others. Use of positive constructive statement (reinforcement) can inspire children and that can make them optimistic in their daily life. If a child is naturally shy or feel insecure, try not to label him as such and motivate him to come out of it.

A HEALTH TALK BY THE SCHOOL NURSE A healthy diet is important to maintain a good health. Our body needs food to help us grow. Be active &feel good. Make the right choices.
