Goals The Ticket to Work program has three major goals: - To give beneficiaries of these benefits more choices for receiving services and support for entering the workplace. - Allow the beneficiaries of the benefits an opportunity to increase their financial independence - Reduce or eliminate the dependence on disability benefits Participating Eligible participants are encouraged to sign up with an approved service provider. They can choose from a workplace in the Employment Network (EN) or State Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) agency. These providers will coordinate and provide the appropriate services to help the applicant find and maintain employment. Some of the services that are provided include: - Training - Career counseling - Vocational rehabilitation - Job placement - Ongoing support Duration Participation in the program can continue for seven years. During that time, you will be asked to show proof of progress on the job.
