Spotlight on BBUK Services: Website – Professionals This section is a new addition to the Bladder and Bowel website and aims to inform professionals of events and training days. The section also has an area to signpost to resources.

These include:•National Continence Symposium at Bolton Arena •Bowel Special Interest Education day •Paediatric Special Interest Education Day •Other Bladder and Bowel training days •Bespoke Training Booking forms and details of events are downloadable.

We will be providing a separate log in area for professionals, who have attended our study days/events. They will be able to access copies of speakers presentations, when we have been given permission to share.

There is a resources section, which includes links within the website to our own resources for adults, children and young people.

Whilst still in its infancy, there are links to ‘others’ external resources, documents and information and we will be continuing to develop this resource further.

Emerald Prescription Service – Giving Something Back Campaign 2017 As part of an ongoing aim to help improve the lives of patients and make a positive impact in our local communities, the B. Braun Emerald Prescription service offer a charitable donation to two chosen charities each year. Since the campaign started in 2012, they have supported a wide variety of charities and made significant donations to help these organisations carry on the great work they complete on a daily basis.

For 2017, B. Braun have chosen Bladder and Bowel UK for the campaign.

Sarah Marubbi, Product Manager at B. Braun said: “Each year we choose charities that have a link to the work we are doing via the conditions B. Braun products help assist. So this year we are delighted to help Bladder & Bowel UK, who make such a difference to people’s lives.”

The Emerald Prescription Service is B. Braun’s Dispensing Appliance Contractor (DAC) Service which delivers essential appliances, such as incontinence and stoma products, direct to patients at home, on receipt of their FP10 prescription.
