The Deepings Caravan Park – 25 Years Young and Only Getting Stronger
Darren and Belinda have been owners and residents of The Deepings Caravan Park for sixteen years and they always ensure that their guests are greeted with a warm welcome and friendly staff, including their adorable pug and French bulldog. They take great pride in knowing that the park is a safe environment for families, and all of the guests are friendly to one another, making it a pleasant close-knit community; a home from home. They are also generous enough to offer a pensioner’s rate; Sunday-Thursday £8 per night. It’s no surprise why guests keep coming back, time and time again. Open March-October, the park provides accommodation for touring caravans, tents, motorhomes and static caravans (fifty weeks per year) with over one hundred and seventy pitches. There is a variety of facilities and activities on offer for guests, young and old, including a clubhouse, shop, kids’ play area, fishing, dog walking area and crazy golf. What’s more, the weekly evening entertainment is always popular amongst
guests; bingo on Thursdays, an act, music and karaoke on Saturdays and quiz night on Sundays. The park is also hosting Beerfest on Saturday August 4th. If glamping is more your style, the park has two fabulous glamping pods which are sure to take your fancy. They are available from £35 per night and sleep two adults and two children. Amenities include a TV with Freeview, heater, fridge, kettle and sofa bed. They have been incredibly popular ever since they opened in 2017, so if you want to book one for a night or two (or three!), it’s always best to phone in advance to avoid disappointment. Don’t worry though; there are plans to add another four pods to the park this year. There are also new developments being built at the site. In June this year, there will be a new toilet block with underfloor heating for tourers, and in 2019, a new leisure centre is due to open. A £500,000 investment has been set aside for caravan owners and their guests to enjoy the centre which will comprise of two bowling alleys, an indoor soft play area, arcade games and a restaurant.
