6. We’re Going On A Bear Hunt Sunday 9th July, 10:15am for 10:30am start We’re going on a bear hunt, we’re going to catch a big one, we’re not scared! Join us for a family fun trail around the Millennium Green, see if you can spot all the teddy bears hiding, and then join us for a teddy bears picnic overlooking the lakes. Circular walk through villages mentioned in the Domesday Book. From Beckingham Church the walk follows the beautiful River Witham to Barnby in the Willows. The walk then heads for Claypole and Stubton villages before returning via Fenton and Sutton. Please park in the village and walk round to meet at the church.
Are you up for the challenge? 22 stiles, 4 gates, 10 bridges and 1 squeeze gap! The walk will take us through Ancaster Valley nature reserve, across countryside fields and paddocks to a Manor House and round lakes.
