Art Exhibition ( 4-6pm Courthouse) M’áit Dhúchais (My Native Place). Featuring work by UachtarArts & guests on the theme of emigration and the landscape of Conamara. 'Diving into the Past: Archaeological Investigations of Ancient Logboats in Lough Corrib (6-7:30pm Courthouse) Talk by Karl Brady Concert in the Church (8pm Catholic Church) Both local and invited guests will bring the sounds of traditional Irish and organ music to the public.

Leckavreagh Walk (10am ) Hosted by Maamturks Hill-Walking Club. 3 – 4 hour walk to Leckavreagh. Cost €10 for non-members Photographic Exhibition by Mick Bourke (11am Premises Beside Londis ) Lough Corrib and its hinterland International Junior Angling competition (12am Faherty’s Angling Centre ) Cost €5 entry fee. Corrib Cup Rugby Match (2pm ORFC Pitch) ORFC Senior Rugby Team v. Dolphins RFC for the inaugural Corrib Cup Sponsored by The Boat Inn. Food Foraging Walk (3pm ) with Ulrick and Barbara. A Taste of Lough Corrib (7:30—9pm The Square) Come and try our trout, pike, smoked salmon, perch and eel. Projections In The Night (8pm The Square) A visual history of the faces of Oughterard over the years on the side of the Lake Hotel.
Derroura Mountain Walk (10am) Hosted by Maamturks Hill-Walking Club. 3 hour walk of Derroura Mountain. Cost €10 for non-members. Artisan Market Stalls (10:30am The Square) Come and try the unique produce the artisan food producers have to offer. International Angling Competition (10:30am The Pier) This is our flagship event for the weekend, a fun angling competition open to all. Entry fee €25 which includes: - entry into the competition - BBQ steak outside Faherty’s Bar Photographic Exhibition by Mick Bourke (11am Premises Beside Londis) Lough Corrib and its hinterland Rusheen Bay Kayaking and Stand-up Paddle boarding (12 Noon The Pier) All sessions 1.5 hours. Cost: Kayak, €10 kids, €15 adults. Stand-up Paddle boarding, €15 kids, €20 adults. FRIDAY 8TH MAY Angling Museum (3-6pm Camp Street) A display of traditional angling memorabilia. Come Try Golf (4-6pm The Field, Camp St.) With golf professional Derek McNamara. Open to adults and children. No experience required. Inter-Pub Soccer Competition (6pm The Field, Camp St.) Shrubbery Illuminations (9:30pm The Shrubbery) Àn evening of reflection, remembrance and light at our local river park. This promises to be a truly enchanting evening. The Hession Sessions (10pm The Angler’s Bar) Traditional music and dance with local musicians alongside some invited guests from Inishbofin and environs.
