Saskatoon Natural Grassland
Saskatoon Natural Grassland is a unique remnant fescue prairie ecosystem of grasses, plants, birds, animals and insects representing 10,000 years of natural history since the glaciers receded. It is a prairie oasis for more than 200 animal species and at least 25 unique butterfly species.

Beaver Creek Conservation Area
This conservation area is located a quick 13 km south of Saskatoon on Highway 219. Bring your hiking shoes or cross-country skis and move through this quiet and beautiful area with prairie, forest, sheltered creek, and river valley habitats on four nature trails. Explore the Interpretive Centre and take in one of the regular interpretive programs offered throughout the year with your family.
Chief Whitecap Park
Pet-friendly space for hiking and exploring. Chief Whitecap also features a beautiful off-leash beach at the end of several trails, making it a great space to be active with your pup!
