The National Centre for Birds of Prey is the largest collection of these wonderful birds in the North of England. One of the UK’s top wildlife spectacles– around half a million seabirds on towering cliffs. Puffins visit April to early August and thousands of the UK’s largest seabird, the gannet, make their home here from March to end of October. Cliff top viewing platforms (most with wheelchair access) give close-up views of the seabirds and panoramic views along the heritage coast. Inside the Seabird Centre there's information, a gift shop, food and drink. Guided walks and nature trails plus fun Discovery Backpacks for kids.
