WHY INVEST IN GTO Guanajuato
has an economically active population of 2.6 million people, out of a total population of 6.1 million inhabitants. Workforce availability increases by 60,000 new job seekers per year.
Our highway system (through the
federal highways 45 and 57) allows easy connectivity with major cities in Mexico, as well as the T-MEC market (through the border cities. Also, the internal connectivity of the state has created a good communication between the cities of our industrial
corridor.
An alternative road Leรณn-Salamanca is already completed, and a project to improve the road Silao-San Miguel de Allende is ongoing. Celaya-San Miguel de Allende road was improved and the expansion road between Silao-San Felipe is on the works.
Guanajuato is a safe State to do business. To strengthen the preventive approach, the State Government has launched the SHIELD program, which consists on several arcs with security cameras distributed at strategic points of the 46 municipalities, recording the license plates of the cars that enter in each town. These arches are linked to a central intelligence system to prevent crime.
