They’ve been working hard all year on their training regime, so they can show off their sporting prowess this summer – but will they make the grade? They’ll definitely get points for trying – and for giving us all a good laugh – what excellent sports!

Already we have had the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations and the Olympic torch celebrations and tour in the Newcastle area. This issue covers the school summer holidays so lots to see and do outdoors. Also, Life in Newcastle has a new visitor attraction and we have a competition to win tickets and a moneyoff voucher. In addition, we have a competition and voucher for Diggerland and you can win family cinema tickets for the Custom House in Sunderland.
