FINALLY BEAUTIFUL FALL WEATHER!! Pawnee, Oklahoma is most definitely the best place to visit in October! We just held the 90th Birthday celebration FOR Dick Tracy and on the same day, the Bear Creek Artisan Festival. Our Pawnee County courthouse lawn was packed!! The Rodeo committee and the VFW combined to provide bar-b-que sandwiches and old fashion sarsaparilla. We had a bounce house for the kiddos, cotton candy, and really great vendors. Everything from fresh flowers, jewelry, crafts of all kinds celebrated our events. The Pawnee County Historical Society served a birthday cake and punch in honor of Dick Tracy. Our local police and sheriff’s office, surrounding police departments, and our Pawnee High School band put on a great parade. Next up is our Festival of Lights parade with Santa and Mrs. Clause on November 27. PICK PAWNEE!!! Joyce Freeman, Manager
