Tera has a passion for helping people and helping people extend their lives by quitting smoking. Tera has been working in the Vaping field since 2014. After a lot of back-and-forth Tera’s now fiancé told her to “just do it”. That was the push she needed, and Dig Lyfe Vapor was born in 2017 and has been helping Oklahomans quit tobacco ever since.

Tera explained why the Lyfe in Dig Lyfe is spelled with a Y. It is an acronym “Live Your Freedoms Everyday”. As a Veteran, serving four and half years in the United Stated Marine Corps with two tours in Iraq. Freedom is near and dear to Tera. After serving Tera got her degree in Business Management. Which comes in handy with all the rules and regulations that come with the ever-evolving vapor industry. Tera always tells her customers that they don’t need to worry that’s what she is here for.

When asked what her favorite part of her business is, Tera says “Helping people quit tobacco products and the smile on their faces is what makes my day. Sure, some need a little more motivation than others, but when it comes down to it, they know why they want to quit, and I am here to help them make that a reality.”

Dig Lyfe offers a multitude of different deals and offers for either vaping newcomers or veterans including cigarette and Vuse/ Juul trade-ins for $10 off or 20% off your entire purchase just to help with the startup cost, but after that, the savings really do add up. Tera and the crew can help guide you through the process and find you the best deal possible. They are with you every step of the way, so you know your products are safe, effective, and reliable. Tera also offers notary services and will be your biggest cheerleader with each milestone you reach. On top of all of that, they offer to help set up devices before you leave to ensure you know how it works and to make sure it’s working properly before you leave. It is very important to Tera that everyone has enough information to helpthem be successful.

Tera has embedded herself into Cushing, by running fundraisers about 3-4 times a year. Currently selling ammo tumblers, and flags. From May to August, they raised funds to purchase school supplies for 2 lucky teachers. This year is the first time she is raising funds to provide Thanksgiving turkeys for 6 families. It can be completely anonymous if preferred and Tera will be calling for pickup about 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. For Christmas, the fundraiser will be for the local Angel Tree. These fundraisers are just a small way to give back to her community, Tera is excited to do even more next year.

When asked how she does it all, Tera explained that she does as much as she can at work and when she leaves, she leaves work at work and enjoys her family. It’s important to give them the time that they deserve too. Her advice for other women in business is stressing the importance of standing up for yourself as a business owner and not letting anyone take advantage of you. Networking with like-minded businesses that you can lean on for advice or help and cheer for you! Set a goal, see where you want to end up by a certain amount of time. She says, “My goals are usually a 2-week goal, I might have 1 or 2 long term year out goals, but everything else I plan accordingly and make sure it’s in an attainable amount of time. Don’t overextend yourself and be sure to make enough time for yourself. If you’re not at your best, then neither will your business be. Lastly, there is a lot of risk in opening and running your own business, but don’t let that frighten you from taking that leap. It’s a scary leap, but well worth it. Are you going to know what you’re doing every step of the way? No, but that is also part of the fun.”
