The District Six is a Berlin based online boutique celebrating South African design with a focus on contemporary home decor, lifestyle accessoires and art from a young Generation of creatives. Design from South Africa is natural, urban, colourful with playful elements, global charme and typical African characteristics. A fine feel for colours and patterns in combination with natural materials is what makes all products unique. Handmade in small quantities with a great sense for detail all products are crafted with a conscious care of nature and social needs. Named after the famous Cape Town district, the concept store is bridging the gap to Europe, changing the traditional image of wooden animals and pearl necklaces. No giraffes. Simply good design.
