Equipment If you are serious about a career in the industry we recommend that you have all of your own equipment as this is the norm expected by employers. It is also beneficial to learn in your own equipment but for this programme Dive Otago can provide tanks and scuba hardware (BCD, regulator and computer) for all course confined water and ocean dives, if purchasing is not an option for you. Our retail store is packed with all the latest dive gear and expert advice to help you make sensible, and informed choices. Every year we put together tailored packages and special prices for our students to suit your individual diving needs and budget. Leasetoown is a popular way for students to complete the programme in their own equipment, paying it off on a weekly basis. This is done on a no interest agreement with Dive Otago and gives you the opportunity to be ready to work as soon as you graduate. For a detailed list of required equipment visit the frequently asked questions page on our website. http://www.diveotago.co.nz/careercourses/whatnext/frequentlyaskedquestions Information is correct at time of printing.
