Edito Welcome to EuroValve 2014! It is a great pleasure to welcome you for this second edition in the beautiful city of Rome, which offers something for everyone: whether you are a culture or art passionate, an Italian cuisine lover, a fashion addict, The Romantic City is sure to please you. As you may know, this year we will favor more interactivity and discussions, especially thanks to several symposia and controversies. Again, over 2 days, we will present an extensive program dedicated to valvular heart disease, focusing on genetics, surgery, epidemiology, transcatheter valve replacement, echocardiography, new imaging. New this year, we are hosting an ePoster competition with outstanding scientific works from selected abstracts received, that you will have the opportunity to view on the interactive screens onsite on the exhibition hall. Take your time to visit the exhibition and discover the Industry news as it is only thanks to their precious help that we could achieve our ambitious program and do not miss Abbott symposium on Friday and Sorin symposium on Saturday in the plenary room. We are very pleased to have you during two convivial days of fruitful teaching in the eternal city. Enjoy the congress!
