Edito Dear colleagues, We are proud to present EuroValve, a new annual congress that will take place in Spain, France and Italy. This year the congress is organized by the University Hospital Ramón y Cajal in Madrid and represented by Course Directors: José Luis Zamorano, Gilbert Habib & Patrizio Lancellotti The first edition will be held in Convencion Hotel in Madrid, on November 8 & 9, 2013. As you know, valvular heart disease is getting more and more frequent and now represents one of the most frequent heart diseases. Incredible advances have occurred in the last few years about valves diseases, concerning both their evaluation and their management. New diagnostic techniques, new therapeutic strategies, new therapeutic methods are now available. From genetics to surgery, from epidemiology to transcatheter valve replacement, from echocardiography to new imaging techniques, EuroValve 2013 will illustrate these most recent advances, presented by the best world specialists in valve disease The format of EuroValve 2013 includes clinical cases discussions, meet the expert sessions, controversies, symposia, and other interactive sessions.
