Message Message from from the LTG the LTG

Hello!

I hope everyone's summer is full of fun and everyone is cooling off from the heat! I've been out of the country and just got back around a week ago! Due to my absent presence from the country, I haven't been able to strictly fulfill my duties as much as I would like Starting next month, I promise to put more work and consideration into my LTG duties

What are DCMs?

DCMs, divisional council meetings, are meetings held by the LTG of the division to inform club officers about various events, updates, and projects.

What is an LTG?

An LTG serves as a liaison from the district to your home clubs. LTGs make sure to keep the divisional clubs updated and in check.

Every month I will have a page to acknowledge the outstanding Key Club for that month. The club could've had the most service or done something above and beyond.

If there isn't one club that stands out with service that month, the page will be to highlight everything done in all the clubs from our division. Bring on the service!

This year, our visional project is hink Outside The Trash." "Think utside The Trash" means to think of items to be something other an trash. In short erms, it means to ecycle and reuse. Trash is piling up too much in our world today and I think our ommunity should y to take a part in ducing this trash o make our home a better place.

How to participate:

Collect recyclable materials and recycle them

Recycling contests

Donation drives (ex. old clothes, toys, furniture, etc.)

Use this project to promote recycling to your school or elementary schools or middle schools.

Landscape Structures (LSI) has joined Kiwanis International as a vision partner to bring play to communities across the globe

Project Happiness inspires and empowers club members to create greater happiness within themselves and their communities addressing the bullying issue at its core.

Major Emphasis

Members work together by sponsoring fundraising events and conducting service projects at their local children’s hospitals.

Since the 1940s, Key Clubs have worked with March of Dimes to make a positive impact in the lives of babies everywhere and still are now by hosting service projects, raising funds and educating communities about the crisis of preterm birth.

UNICEF is the only organization of the United Nations dedicated exclusively to children and helps to provide for children’s needs in more than 150 developing countries through community-based services in primary health care, basic education and safe water and sanitation

Thirst Project hopes to educate the next generation by arming students with information about how they can be a part of social change, make a difference and encourage others to join in the effort
