Happy February, everyone!

Thank you to everyone who came out to the January DCM for the election rally. I am pleased to announce and welcome Anthony Lu, from Garfield High School, as your 20162017 Division 26 Lieutenant Governor! I am confident that he will lead this amazing division to everything I know it’s capable of achieving over the next year. Please make sure to give him a warm welcome! ď Š If you missed this DCM, no worries! The February DCM will be at ACME Bowling in Tukwila on February 13th. Warm Regards,

So now I have a question: Key Clubbers, How Do You Feel?

Y O U

I am writing to introduce myself, and wish you well in your new Key Club year. I will soon be starting a year as Kiwanis Lt. Governor in Division 26, just as Christina Nguyen is your Key Club Lt. Governor in Division 26. My big goals are to strengthen all clubs in Division 26 through growth in membership, service, and community involvement, and activities with sponsored Key Clubs are really important to those goals. I will be meeting with Christina regularly, and working with her to make sure that our Division 26 Kiwanis Clubs are all working together with their Key Clubs. This includes sponsorship, leadership guidance, and working together on fundraising and service projects. Thank You all for being involved with Service through Key Club!

Hello Key Clubbers!

JANUARY RECAP Hey, Unicorns! My name is Anthony Lu and I’m currently a sophomore at Garfield High School. I’ll be serving all of you next year as 2016-2017’s Lt.G. A little about myself, I’m a very happy and sassy person. I’m very openminded and very approachable as well, so please don’t be afraid to start a conversation with me. I like dogs, roller coasters, happiness, sushi, and especially the people that make up D26 aka you all smile emoticon

I’m currently Fundraising Chair of Garfield’s Key Club. Key Club has impacted me in various ways, especially through service. At first, Key Club was just a way to get hours to graduate high school, but that’s obviously changed. Key Club has provided a safe haven for me and it has taught me to be a leader. I’ve made friends, bonds, and memories through Key Club. I can’t wait to serve every single one of you. I look forward to the new memories, DCMs, and meeting every single one of you! I have so many ideas for this next term such as having us more bonded as one opposed to the school cliques; I also want to boost every Key Clubs membership and I plan on doing this by advertising to freshmen more! Hope to see/meet you all soon! In love and service, Anthony Lu
