Hey peacocks! How’s life coming along? Junior year can really take a toll on one’s motivation and stress you out...well if your a freshman/sophomore then relax while you can and for the seniors here, good luck with the college applications!!! Now for the best part: FALL RALLY IS NEARING!!! Who wouldn’t want to attend Six Flags for a day to hang out with their friends, flaunt their kc spirit, and just relax for a day away from school-related activities? Please attend our upcoming DCMs and spirit sessions to learn your cheers, make tutus, and make spirit sticks. Please bring as many representatives as possible for a more interactive experience. If you are in anyway confused, please contact any of the DLT members using the info from our “Staying Connected” section on page 12. Thank you for your dedication to Key Club.

-- Events Events Recap Recap -------------“On Saturday, August 24, a few different high schools met up at helix to have our Key Club DCM. We first started out by introducing everyone through a name game to make sure we all were familiar with each other. Everyone was excited and intimidated, but all of us rose to the challenge. After we went through our schedule to discuss what different high schools had done in the beginning of the year to jump start Key Club. At the end of the event, we taught the officers several general cheers to get started for the year. The event was lots of fun and we were able to strengthen our bond between high schools. -Jeffery Keppler, D31 Spirit Coordinator

- Events Recap --------------

“On Saturday, August 24th, Helix Charter High School’s Key Club hosted a service event. The event was a beach clean up located at Mission Beach. After the beach clean up, there was a club bonfire, where members were able to socialize and get to know their board members more. Although not as many members showed up as expected, it was still a great turn out and everyone had lots of fun.” -Kelly Tran, President of Helix Key Club
