2022-2023 2022-2023 Lieutenant Governor Madeline Lam Hello Peacocks! It’s me again from the last newsletter. I have retired from the Division News Editor position to starting this new position as Division 31’s new LTG. I’m glad to be serving you all for another year and will try to the best of my ability to make this year a better year for all of us. During this term I hope to be increase membership and have clubs become more involved within divisional activities. Some random facts about me is that I play tennis and I am into the visuals arts and graphic design hence why I was the division news editor last term. I will strive for the best and try to the best of my ability to do the most that I can do for this division! 03

training One simple and great form of training, is to reach out to your IP officers and ask them questions. They have a year of experience, lessons, and Key Club wisdom to pass down to you. Another resource to help prepare you for the new Key Club adventure is our LtG. They can help guide you through different process and direct/give you resources to help better understand Key Club, your responsibilities, and more. There is one more amazing resource available at your fingertips (and let's be honest, even more), the cnh district cyberkey, which you can find information for events, awards, scholarships, positions, forms, and more! In addition, there is also a youtube channel.

Schedule your club and board meetings for the term with a brief agenda. Plan time for service events and fundraisers to ensure consistency throughout the term. Create plans for growth by looking at what last term strengths and weaknesses were ❏ A side note is to talk to your members about what they would like to see improved. Along with what IP officers recommend. Brainstorm goals ahead of time. So you have a clear idea of what you want your term to look like. ❏ Make sure to also have clear steps for each goal, so then they are easier to reach.
Goal Setting One way to help set up you and your club for success is creating goals When brainstorming be sure to plan out with your fellow officers. And to make sure the goals are reached and you hold yourself and other officers accountable for work, have checkpoints and tasks for each officer for each goal. Here are some questions to help get you started peacocks!

Reflection Reflection on the past can lead to growth and development towards a better tomorrow. That is true of whether it is in your personal life, club, division, or district. If we can recognize were we need to grow, we will be able to forage a path towards a future were we did grow. But as you look back don’t get hung up on what you did wrong, don’t forget to acknowledge everything that did grow and flourish in throughout the year. Your reflection on the end will lead to an amazing new beginning of a unforgettable journey. 07
