Greetings From Your Lt.G I know you probably don’t want to hear it, but the new school year is almost upon us! That means it’s time to start thinking about how we can spread the news of Key Club, and draw in new members! Invite your friends/classmates who have not been in Key Club before to attend the first meeting and check out what the buzz is all about! I’m anticipating another great school year of service! Meanwhile, I’ve been preparing materials for an officer training conference (see page 5), so that your club officers may go into the school year prepared with fresh ideas! I also just recently visited Orofino’s Kiwanis Club. I encourage all of you to connect more with your sponsoring Kiwanis clubs! Kiwanis truly does so much for us, and I’m sure they would appreciate you dropping in, or just saying hi! Like always, If you want to talk about anything, please don’t hesitate to contact me! I’m always open to chat! With that, I wish you a happy newsletter reading! In Love and Service,

Jane Tang Lieutenant Governor of Division 56 Pacific Northwest District Key Club International ltg56@pnwkeyclub.org (509) 432-8009 3

Pullman

Club Updates We, as a club, have been pretty inactive over the summer, but August is a busy month. We have been preparing for the Stuff the Bus event taking place on Saturday, August 12 at one PM. I am happy to announce that Moscow Key Club will be joining us for this event! Pullman key clubbers are also going to help sell drinks at the Lentil Festival on the 18th and the 19th. That’s all for this month. Heema Koirala, Pullman President

Moscow is focusing more on plans for recruitment. Current ideas include having meetings on different days once every other week, and trying to provide lunch to members as much as possible, as many members go out to eat everyday. Grant Clary, Moscow President

Keelan Chen, Orofino President

Orofino

has been inactive for the summer months, as most members are not available during the summer. Instead, we are focusing our time on a successful 2017-2018 year!
