Greetings From Your Lt.G November is the month of Thanksgiving, and although we should be thankful year round, Thanksgiving is a time to really reflect and think about the blessings you do have. First off, I just want to say that I’m so grateful for all of you guys. Thank you SO much for providing me with such an inspirational environment to be in. I could go on and on, but I’m afraid that we won’t have room to discuss the contents of this newsletter, so we’ll save that for another time… To begin, October was a busy month for all our clubs! Clubs participated in multiple events ranging from participating in trick or treat for UNICEF, local events, Kiwanis One Day, and more! Turn to pages 8-9 for pictures! In addition, the election season is almost upon us! If you have any interest at all in running for Lieutenant Governor, please contact me! I will coordinate an informational meeting for all who show interest, so you will feel fully prepared going into the election! I will also be releasing an official interest form later! Please reach out to me! In Love and Service,

Jane Tang Lieutenant Governor of Division 56 Pacific Northwest District Key Club International ltg56@pnwkeyclub.org (509) 432-8009

Orofino

Club Updates a busy month for Orofino Key Club! On October 4th, we participated in a school wide fundraiser for KCCP week. We had a hat day where students were allowed to wear their hats indoors during school hours, a practice that is not normally allowed at OHS. In total, we raised $55 during this event for KCCP! On the 18th, we headed down to Clearwater Health and Rehab to decorate pumpkins with the elderly. Key Clubbers had fun helping out while serving their community! On Halloween, we set up a booth for our town's annual Trick or Treat Rockin' the Street event, where kids can safely trick or treat in downtown Orofino. We handed out candy and had a game for the kids to play! October has been busy, but November will prove to be even busier with our dedicated Key Clubbers! -Keelan Chen, Orofino President 6

Moscow Put on the blood drive and participated in Trick or Treat for UNICEF during the month of October. The events went well and we will be having a meeting soon to recap, regroup, and plan for further events. -Grant Clary, Moscow President

Pullman

The month of October was busy for Pullman. To start, we held our first meeting at the beginning of the month, with an excellent turnout. We also helped out with raking leaves at the cemetery for Kiwanis One Day on the 28th. Many Key Clubbers we're able to help with that, making it the job go faster. Our biggest event of the month was Trick-orTreat for UNICEF. We had over 50 clubbers come to raise money for UNICEF, and ended by raising $1969.75 to eliminate neonatal tetanus!! This event was also a really good opportunity to establish connections with our local CKI and K-Kids, and be involved in the community together. We're looking forward to a busy November! -Heema Koirala, Pullman President
