MEET YOUR INCOMING LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR!
CHRISTON SENEKHAM High School: Glencoe High School Year: Sophomore # of years in Key Club: 2 #District Conventions attended: 1 Why I first Joined Key Club: I first joined Key Club because I heard about it from my cousins and older friends. At first, I thought they made keys, but then I realized it was a club dedicated to community service and I became obsessed. It was a great way to help out my community, and it was a lot of fun, so I decided to take up more in key club, and became my school’s Historian. Favorite Key Club Project: My favorite key club project was during the winter. It was an event sponsored by the Hillsboro Kiwanis where we got to mingle around, sing, and help make a pleasant Christmas experience for the adults with disabilities. It was a joy to see the smiles in their faces when we sang, and especially when Santa came out to deliver presents. I thoroughly enjoyed being able to help give them a joyful Christmas experience. Why I want to be Lieutenant Governor: I want to be Lieutenant Governor because I believe I have the qualities of a successful LtG. I want to be able to help the Key Clubbers of our division create an even larger positive impact on our community, by doing more community events and fundraisers, and I have the drive and desire to do so. I want to make a larger footprint on our community by becoming LtG of Division 65. Fun Facts 1) I’ve been to many countries and places around the world 2) I am obsessed with Key Club 3) I like listening to music by British Artists such as Ellie Golding, Emeli Sande, etc 4) I love learning new languages, and I hope to travel when I’m older 5) I LOVE community service. Christon Senekham (2013-2014 Division 65 Lieutenant Governor) — CONGRATULATIONS! YOU ARE THE INCOMING LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR OF DIVISION 65! From the very beginning (May 27, 2012 at 10:27PM exactly), you have always shown so much leadership, enthusiasm, and passion for community service and Key Club. Your commitment to our division and organization is demonstrated through your unwavering drive and impeccable attendance. The only attendee from Division 65 at Seattle Rally. The designer of our fresh crewnecks. A loyal attendee of all Divisional Council Meetings. I have no doubt that you will expand the capabilities of our division and I am so happy to be graduating from high school knowing that our division is in safe and caring hands. Continue to inspire incoming Key Clubbers and the rest of the district with your incredible charm, compassion, and character. You will be a fantastic Lieutenant Governor starting at DCON 2013. I am confident that you will accomplish incredible feats in the future. Oh, so proud of you. — Van Susie Than (2012-2013 Division 65 Lieutenant Governor P.S. I am so excited to spend time with you at Winter Board and DCON! More surprises to come…
