Preferred Charities

Works with the UN to assist children in 150 of the world’s developing countries. Through community based service, Unicef provides health care, education, sanitation and safe water.

The March of Dimes funds lifesaving research and programs and works to end premature birth, birth defects and infant mortality. Every baby deserves a healthy life.

Children’s Miracle Network uses the money fundraised to go towards research and training, purchasing equipment and paying uncompensated care, all in support for the mission to save as many children’s lives as possible.

GREETINGS FROM YOUR LTG! AYY WE MADE IT! Frequent all-nighters, never ending homework, one test after another— IT’S ALL OVER! I never thought I would get through junior year. Although it was torturous, I wouldn’t trade this year f o r a n y t h i n g . This year was full of surprises and my life has changed for the better. In the past few months, I’ve gotten to know you all inside and out and I look forward to seeing Division 65 Key Clubbers at service projects and DCMs. I hope that I have been able to fulfil my duties as an LtG and I AM ECSTATIC for what summer has in store for us. Summer is the time to kick back and relax but don’t forget– our communities still need us! With all this time in our hands, let’s continue making a difference in our world. I encourage you all to come out of your shells this summer and S E R V E . We have an endless list of opportunities and I have tried my best to make DCMs enjoyable for you all. Never hesitate to bring your friends, key clubbers and non key clubbers, aunts, uncles, and even your dogs to DCMs! This summer, let’s train and organize ourselves as leaders and continue to strive as Key Clubbers outside of the school year. You all never fail to impress me. ONE LONG UH! UUUUUUHH *hand roller coaster* RAPPER STYLE! UH-UH-UH-UH-UH! *chop the air*

With The Eliminate Project, Kiwanis International and UNICEF have joined forces to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus. This deadly disease steals the lives of nearly 60,000 innocent babies and a significant number of women each year. The effects of the disease are excruciating â&#x20AC;&#x201D; tiny newborns suffer repeated, painful convulsions and extreme sensitivity to light and touch. To eliminate MNT from the Earth, more than 100 million mothers and their future babies must be immunized. It will take US$110 million â&#x20AC;&#x201D; and the dedicated work of UNICEF and every member of the Kiwanis family. Our goal for 2015 is to completely ELIMINATE MNT. Are you still up for the challenge? PNW AND KEY CLUB INTERNATIONAL raised a total of

$80, 778.40 which is equivalent to 89,754 lives!

We have 12 schools in our division

On Friday, May 31st, Division 65 had the opportunity to honor their graduating se ing consisted of an exquisite Asian cuisine dinner provided by Mrs. Ahmed & Mrs down nostalgia lane. Then, each school had the opportunity to serenade their sen ing them an anthem. The graduates were given sashes that read â&#x20AC;&#x153;DIV 65 KEY CLU bettering our clubs and serving as role models within our schools. The evening fin left the church the way it was found! GIVING CONNECTION is a clearinghouse for community donations for the survivors of child sex trafficking. The donations are directly distributed through the social service organizations that provide treatment and housing as well as through a special victims police task force which serves as the first responders and first contact for many of these boys, girls an transgender youth!

Beaverton Key Club raised $400 in one week and purchased care items for the Athena House through Giving Connection!
