Works with the UN to assist children in 150 of the world’s developing countries. Through community based service, Unicef provides health care, education, sanitation and safe water.
The March of Dimes funds lifesaving research and programs and works to end premature birth, birth defects and infant mortality. Every baby deserves a healthy life.
Children’s Miracle Network uses the money fundraised to go towards research and training, purchasing equipment and paying uncompensated care, all in support for the mission to save as many children’s lives as possible.

Greetings from your Lieutenant Governor Hello my lovely division! I hope everyone is doing well and continues to stay sane during this hectic month of AP/IB exams, prom, and the everlasting wait until summer break (which, by the way, happens to be a month away). First off, I would like to give a HUGE shout-out to division as a whole. You all have welcomed me and made the first couple months of my term a BREEZE. Thank you for being cooperative, caring, and passionate about what you do. You all are incredible leaders and your hard work continues to inspire me everyday. This months newsletter contains a recap of the month of April along with the upcoming events in May. Although it may seem like Key Club is coming to an end– IT IS MOST DEFINITELY NOT! It’s just about time to begin service under the sun! I’m excited for our summer adventures. As an officer, it is your prime time to motivate Key Clubbers to get out of the house for the summer and SERVE! As a Key Clubber, serving your community is not a seasonal thing. Meet your Divisional Historian Johnny Po from Westview High School Appointed by Tasmia Ahmed, Johnny Po will serve as this years Divisional Historian. As Divisional Historian, Johnny will capture pictures and video from Division 65 events. We often forget to capture these moments because we are too busy having a good time. Johnny will do his best to hold onto our memories so that we are able to look back at them.
“Inspired by a good friend, I started Potography back in January of 2014. Taking pictures has been an interest and hobby of mine since 8th grade when I had the chance to touch my very first professional camera, a Nikon D80. Since then, I've learned that a great picture does not necessarily require the best equipment, or the best facilities. A good photograph catches the attention of the viewer, and captures the exact feeling of when the picture was taken. “

Meet the newest addition to the DIVISION 65 FAMILY Please welcome Stephanie Chen from Valley Catholic School
Read her inspirational story as an international student and newest Key Club member! “Thought for a long time of what to say about Key Club, and finally decided to just type whatever my fingers feel like typing. At the very beginning, I simply went online and typed in "how to become a pediatrician", and Key Club just jumped into my eyes. I don't know what happened to me that time, but all the sudden I started to contact them. I knew nothing, and I don't even speak English well. I then tried my best to write out an email; after days and days I finally got an invitation to attend the Kiwanis meeting. In the morning at 7:00, I went to that meeting and just spoke of what I was thinking. I was not nervous because I never get nervous, but it's weird to hear my accent spreading in the room. After that, my host mom stood up with her cast on her foot, and explained why I spoke with grammar errors, and also how much it meant for an international student to stand there. They were like "Oh!!!” The day VC got accepted was the day I returned from a 5 day service trip in Spokane, but the moment I received the email from Mel, I was speechless. I called my mom in China, and she said great; I felt great. I had a hard time finding an advisor in my school, a hard time waiting for acceptance, blablabla, but it was worth it. I met the nicest people and the most lovely group; they were warming and friendly. That made it a lot easier for me. I don't know any other words besides "thanks", so thanks. I am doing what I love, an I will make a lot of efforts to carry the mission. “
