A MESSAGE FROM THE LTG! Greetings Division 66, School is coming to an end, which means finals are here and it’s almost time to enjoy the summer. Congratulations to you all, you have survived another year of school and have moved up another grade level. Key Club has blessed many of us this past year with memories that’ll we’ll never forget. Just because school is out, that doesn’t mean that Key Club is over. There are many opportunities to help the community and serve others throughout the summer. Seniors, congratulations on graduating and officially completing high school. Your time with Key Club is not over. You do not have to leave the KFamily. Seniors, you have the opportunity to go and join Circle-K or become a Kiwanian. Best of luck to you all! Division 66 loves you and will miss each and every one of you dearly. I hope to see many of you Key Clubbers at the Portland Rally, Saturday, June 22nd at Tualatin High School. This is a great opportunities to meet new Key Clubbers, have a fun new experience, and learn new facts. There are other Rallies throughout the summer that you may attend and those are in the Important Dates section of the newsletter. Throughout the summer, I hope you all do an act of kindness each month, have fun in the sun and enjoy your summer with family and friends. In love and service,

Emilee Huey

CLUB “SPOT”LIGHT Congratulation to Oregon City for being the Club “Spot” Light winner! Oregon City High School Key Club held a Hershey’s Family Play day, which was coordinated by Sherry Reeder, Representative for Region 3 in the National Hershey Track and Field Games. Family and friends in the community were able to come out to play and have fun, while having some competitions. Key Clubbers were allowed to show a helping hand by volunteering to run a specific station. This was a very successful day. Lots of families came out and played in the sunshine.

The Hershey Family Play Day event was an amazing event in which key clubbers from Oregon City and Clackamas High School got together to help out kids have a good day, while playing with their family. It was created to help kids enjoy their Saturday by playing games with their family in the park. And of course, there was plenty of Hershey's chocolate milk! This event is similar to the carnivals that Clackamas Key Club helps out with. The events made a huge difference on people’s lives, because people could see the satisfaction when the kids ran around smiling with their family. The impact this had on me allowed me feel great and accomplished when I helped out kids by attending an event that gets the kids involved in playing games and having fun. Not only do I have fun, but the families that attend are happy together playing fun activities on a bright sunny day. Key Club is all about helping others and to have Key Clubs of different school working together to help out families have a fun Saturday while playing games and drink chocolate milk is an unforgettable moment. ~Derek Nguyen Key Dates to Remember For the Month of May • • •
