Message from your Lt.G and Assistant HEY KEY CLUBBERS! I hope the school year is starting off well for all of you but don’t forget you always have something to look forward to… Key Club! The time of year has come for meetings, school carnivals, new events and new members. Make sure to invite your friends and the new students to Key Club! So what have I been up to? In the past few weeks I worked on the joint DCM, training officers and of course my summer homework. Thanks to everyone who came to the DCM, I hope you had fun! As for school work, I’m looking forward to my senior year not so much the homework. With that said, I wish all of you the best of luck this coming school year: make sure to attend events, meetings and come to the next DCM. Until then look forward to a special post on Sep. 15th! Hi Giraffes! I hope everyone had a memorable summer! With the end of rally season comes the beginning of school (sadly). Portland Area Rally was a huge success and I'm glad that key clubbers around the area were able to meet each other and show off their respective divisions spirit. Going back to school means there will be more Key Club events, activities, and meetings. Hopefully procrastination hasn't infected everyone and sleep schedules have been fixed. As for me, senior year has finally arrived and I can't wait to spend my last year serving Key Club In care and service, Austin Sayachith

On August 13th, 2017 over 40 Key Clubbers of the 8 Portland Area divisions gathered for The Amazing Race. We started the DCM off with a few icebreakers like ride that pony and common grounds. Afterwards, they were grouped into teams and given 8 riddles leading them to 8 popular locations of downtown Portland including Portlandia and Voodoo. Congrats to team wings on being the first team to cross the finish line and winning the race!
