I hope you all made it out of alive of AP exams! I couldn’t wait to finally sit back and relax after so many hours of studying. Nevertheless, I hope you all enjoyed my May DCM! My favorite part was definitely when Kevin from Reynolds came out of no where and won the watermelon eating contest. At this DCM, we had 59 attendees from 7/11 of the schools in our Division show up, WOW! Everyone seemed to really enjoy this DCM so I hope I can continue organizing these fun DCM so that you guys can continue to not only learn more about Key Club but also have a great time.

MEMBER OF THE MONTH WHY DID YOU JOIN KC? In middle school I was interested in picking locks and learning more about the metals and what it took into building keys. Entering high school, I was super interested in Key Club! Although it wasn't for actual keys, I stayed nonetheless because it seemed like a good opportunity to meet new people.

My favorite Key Club memory is attending DCON and rooming with someone I've never met that goes to a different school than me. I don't like not knowing people, so I popped his bubble and put him in mine. We played card games all night, talked about school, and exchanged social media! Love and miss you, Danny Vu! REMARKS FROM LTG Jet is a proud member of Division 66. He always has a smile on his face and displays a charisma that you can’t get enough of. Although he is a senior and will no longer be with us, he has let his mark not only in his home club but also the Division.

MAY DCM RECAP FOOD EATING CONTEST PICNIC
RECAP On Friday May 25, 59 members from around Division 66 gathered for a watermelon eating contest to not only fundraise for the Thirst Project, but also celebrate the end of testing season with a picnic. Together we were able to raise over $40 for the District Project.

JUNE JOINT DCM: OLYMPIC GAMES What: We will be having an Olympic Games based DCM with Division 62! Where: David Douglas High School Track, 1001 SE 135th Ave, Portland, OR 97233 When: Saturday June 30th from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM Why: To have fun in the sun. Come for a surprise Service project! Who: All 11 schools of our division and Division 62.

MONTHLY HOT TOPIC KEY CLUB DAY SOUTH WHAT IS KEY CLUB DAY SOUTH? Replacing the old rally system, Key Club Day South is a new membership experience for all Portland Area Key Club Members. It will be September 15th at 10 AM at Oaks Amusement Park. Admission will be $30, but food and a deluxe ride bracelet will be included. 17 17"
