DSU WILL PREPARE YOU FOR THE CAREER OF YOUR DREAMS. Flori Wentzell graduated from DSU in 2014 with her bachelor’s degree in Media Studies. During her time as a Trailblazer, she got involved around campus, filling her schedule with academic and extracurricular activities including the dance team and school newspaper. After graduation, Flori landed a job on the Jimmy Kimmel Show as a field associate producer. Her experience at Dixie State taught her how to handle pressure, prioritize responsibilities, and be more outgoing – all skills she now uses daily under the Hollywood lights in Los Angeles, California. “When I was news reporting at DSU, I had to go out on my own and pull people to talk to, and weirdly now I do the same thing,” she said. “When we are out doing a bit for the show and we need to find participants, I basically have to do the same thing, just in a different context.”
