OVER
75 mile per hour average speed on CO44 Road, no animals can survive. Creating an overcrossing containing several elements that are similar to animal habitats (water, plants, soils) can protect wildlife avoiding going by highways.
• Creating a natural transformation between two patches • Leading wildlife to the water origin or habitats on the other side
• Minimizing human intervention • Creating good landscape experiences for visitors
• Comprehensed natural and cultural heritages • Artistic sculptures collections for visitors’ enjoyment and appreciation

This project focuses on connecting and surrounding areas by creating two “green line” to lead people getting close to the Poudre River. The first “green line” is along the rail through the district, which is used for blocking noises generated by trains. People are able to access beautiful sights of Poudre River by following the second “green line” on the Willow Street.

FLOWS ON THE LAND -- LINCOLN RAILWAY PARK Academic Project: Landscape Design and Visualization
Fort Collins, CO
Instructor: Professor Bradely Goetz
Summer - Fall 2017
THE main concept is to consider the railway as a “flow on the land.“
•
• The
idea was inspired by a blend of curvy and straight lines that could balance the railway and landscape features. • It takes up to 40 minutes for the train to pass, which created an opportunity for people to stay and enjoy the site. Conceptual Flows

How we regard outdoor open space of a campus library becomes the primary focus of this project. Considering campus space mostly serve students and faculties, This proposal aims to create a flexible public space that they can read, play and do some social activities while enjoying the nature.
Sun Analysis The analysis of the site indicates a proper zone for lawn planting. The heights of surrounding constructions allow plants growth since the sun is able to irradiate the site enough hours per day. More than 6 h

Instead of telling people various functions of different areas, this project encourage users to investigate the spaces that fit their own habits. The design smoothly transform the group study spaces to large lawn resting area and finally to the quiet sofa zone. The changing of the space is defined by different pavings, furnitures and planting strategies.
