Media Alert Thursday, March 11, 9:00a.m. Who: Armitage Hall Foundation, a foundation with an endowment of more than $1 billion to help many medical research centers. Along with president Arnold A. Phillips, Mrs. Jessica Haddaway, and other profit and non-profits organizations around Chicago. What: The board of directors will announce Jessica Haddaway as their new president. Where: The Astoria Room at the Chicago Hilton located at 720 South Michigan Avenue. Please go up to the 2nd floor, on your left side you will see a sign that reads "Armitage Hall foundation". Parking lots are located along Wabash Ave. between Congress Parkway and Roosevelt Road. Daily rates start at about $8. There is also street parking available at metered locations along the street. When: Thursday, March 11 at 9:00 a.m. Coffee, Orange juice, and Breakfast snacks will be served from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. The news conference will begin at 9:30 a.m. promptly. Why: Jessica Haddaway has a unique style of giving away donation money, which will be a departure from the way things are usually handled. It will be good news for smaller Chicago non-profits.
