NIC K P O MP ONIO D ELIV E RS B E T T E R R E S U LT S
With most law firms, you never meet or talk to the name on the building or letterhead. However, with Pomponio Injury law, Nick Pomponio oversees all of his client’s cases.
Nick states, “It is a lot more work for me, but the results are a lot better for my clients and I am happy to go the extra mile for them. I want the best for my clients, and I take pride in getting the best possible settlements for them.” Nick’s efforts and results have not gone unnoticed, as he has become one of the top attorneys in both Nevada and California. “I believe my personal involvement in each of my clients’ cases helps their case get resolved a lot quicker and for more money. Unfortunately, a lot of other law firms do not want to put in the time and effort needed for a client’s case. In doing so, their cases take forever to settle, and the client ends up with less money in their pocket. For example, if there is only $25,000.00 to $50,000.00 available to my clients, I can typically resolve those cases in six to eight weeks. With other law firms, it may take six to eight months.” Nick’s reputation and settlements speak for themselves. To this day, many of his clients come from referrals from past clients, medical doctors, and even other attorneys, because they know that Nick will handle the case properly and provide the best possible representation for the client. Eric, a former client of Pomponio Injury Law
10 | Deluxe Version Magazine
states, “I was with another law firm where I could not get in contact with anyone and had no idea what was going on with my case. Once I switched to Pomponio Injury Law, Nick took immediate control and got me to the proper doctors and specialists so I could feel better, and also got me the settlement I deserved. It changed my life. I would recommend Nick to anyone!” Another former client, Dr. Michael, explains, “With my medical practice, I work with a lot of attorneys in town for patients that were injured in an auto accident. However, if a patient requests to be put in contact with an attorney to assist them with their case, I will always provide them with Nick’s number. He does a great job and treats each of his clients as if they are his only client.” Stacy, who works as a paralegal at a law firm that also handles car accidents and personal injury cases admits, “Even though my office can handle these types of cases, I have always referred my family and friends to Pomponio Injury Law because I know Nick will get the best possible care for them and also the best results. Nick really is a step above most other attorneys. He can settle a case in half the time my office could, but still get the client more money.” Rachel has also had great experiences with Pomponio Injury Law, “I have used Nick’s office for accidents I have been involved with in both California and Nevada. In the past, I have unfortunately used other attorneys for prior accidents. I had no idea there was such a big difference between these offices and Nick’s office. Nick was working on my case every step of the way and my settlement was massive compared
to what I received in the past.” Nick goes on to say, “I really try to do my best for my clients. I realize their lives have been turned upside down after an accident, and I want to get them feeling better and properly compensated. I realize anyone can choose any law firm they wish after an accident. However, I truly believe the service and results we provide are hard to match. I am also flattered that other individuals who work in the legal, medical, or insurance industry understand and appreciate how I go above and beyond for my clients.” Brian, who works for a major auto insurance company admits, “I have personally used Pomponio Injury Law in the past after I was involved in an accident. Why? Because my bosses hate dealing with Nick’s office because they know he is relentless and will fight for his clients. It is a night and day difference compared to dealing with most other law offices. I simply wanted to hire the best.” Nick states, “After being in an accident, the insurance carriers, even your own, are not typically on your side. It is a big decision when selecting an attorney to represent your interests after an accident. I believe my reputation and results speak for themselves and would love to assist anyone in their time of need.” If you have been injured in Nevada or California, give Pomponio Injury Law a call, and get the representation you deserve.

DYNAMIC STEM CELL THERAPY
REVOLUTIONIZING WELLNESS Since its inception in 2014, Dy-
namic Stem Cell Therapy has become a prominent name in the field of regenerative medicine. The key to its success? CEO Blake Youmans’ unwavering dedication to finding natural solutions for healing. Blake Youmans has been managing medical establishments for over 10 years. After receiving his bachelor’s in biology from the College of Charleston, South Carolina in 2001, he relocated to Las Vegas, where he became a Nationally Registered Paramedic.
“As a paramedic I witnessed patients getting emergent care for problems that could have been prevented naturally,” Youmans recalls. From the very beginning, the primary goal of Dynamic Stem Cell Therapy has been to explore and expand the boundaries of medical knowledge. With a firm belief in the potential of stem cell science, the organization aims to provide innovative solutions for a wide range of conditions, including sports injuries and inflammatory autoimmune diseases. Additionally, the clinic recognizes the impact of diet on inflammation, paying particular attention to factors like sugar and gluten in their treatment protocols. The philosophy and practices of Dynamic Stem Cell Therapy are heavily influenced by Youmans’ mother and the clinic’s founder, the late Dr. Simong Youmans.
“Stem cell therapy was an area my mother always believed in, but the technology wasn’t advanced enough to reach its potential during her lifetime. Due to recent scientific breakthroughs, we are extremely optimistic about the future of regenerative medicine.” While the future looks bright, many clinics still fail to establish a cohesive treatment standard, creating a fragmented landscape which often forces individuals to seek treatment abroad. That’s why Youmans and
his team advocate for a unified approach within the medical community, where clinics can streamline their practices and focus on treatments that consistently yield positive outcomes. He emphasizes the need to share and promote successful stories within the local stem cell community, to create awareness and shift the perception that the best treatment options are only available outside the United States.
“Ensuring patient safety and adhering to stringent operating protocols and guidelines, including those set by the FDA to be compliant, is a priority for Dynamic Stem Cell Therapy,” Youmans says. “By using the safest technologies available, the clinic aims to offer treatments that provide optimal results while maintaining the integrity of the healthcare system within the United States.” Looking ahead, Dynamic Stem Cell Therapy hopes to leverage emerging technologies to offer patients even more advanced and effective treatments. By providing wellness treatments, including longevity treatments and intravenous therapies, the clinic aims to attract individuals seeking not only stem cell therapy but also comprehensive wellness solutions. Exciting innovations such as telomere lengthening and biological age testing further demonstrate the clinic’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of healthcare and well-being. The time for continuous innovation and open-mindedness in the medical field is now, and Dynamic Stem Cell Therapy remains at the forefront of transformative advancements. With a passion for patient care, research, and collaboration, Blake Youmans and Dynamic Stem Cell Therapy are poised to redefine the future of regenerative medicine and positively impact the lives of individuals around the world. BANKING ON THE
FUTURE OF
BUSINESS George Guarini’s story is one of resilience and innovation in the banking industry. After graduating from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, Guarini moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, seeking employment in both banking and retail. Opting for the former due to its better working hours, he embarked on a journey that would ultimately lead to the founding of United Business Bank. After transferring to Newport Beach, California in the late in the late 80s, Guarini began working in lower-level positions in the banking sector and observing the intricacies involved in bank operations. His curiosity led him to contact a firm specializing in assisting banks in obtaining FDIC Regulatory approval, setting the stage for the birth of his financial institution. The process of starting a bank, as Guarini learned, was broken down into 3 steps. #1 Securing State and Federal Regulatory approval #2 establishing a Board of Directors and #3 raising capital. After meeting with twenty-five individuals in the San Francisco Bay Area, he discovered a shared interest in his venture to establish a community bank. “I was able to convince twenty-four out of twenty-five of those individuals to join me in my new endeavor,” Guarini recalls. “The next step was to establish a board of directors.” Of the twenty-four, Guarini asked ten individuals to join the board of directors. Fortunately, nine out of ten said “yes.” Then came the tricky part: raising $15.5 million in eight weeks. Shortly after the first organizer meeting, while riding the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) train from San Francisco to Walnut Creek, Guarini was on the phone with one of the founding officers who told him that they had secured their first committed investor, a plastic surgeon who had committed an investment of three hundred thousand dollars. After a few stops and some persuasive pleading, he’d acquired his first investor, but his luck on that fateful day had yet to run out. An elderly gentleman sitting in the handicapped chair in front of which Guarini was standing, overheard his conversation and asked if he was starting a business. “I told him I was starting a bank,” says Guarini. “He said he was heading to Yellowstone National Park, but if I had an offering circular, I should send it to his home address.” Guarini learned that this older gentleman was also a successful doctor and knew the plastic surgeon who had made the $300,000 Commitment. In the span of a single train ride, he had secured $600,000 of Committed investment. More smooth solicitation and friendly favors would follow, and Guarini would ultimately raise $8.6 million of the $15.5 million on his own and the remaining capital was raised by the 24 organizers from friends and family in approximately 6 weeks. United Business Bank officially opened on July 20th, 2004. In only a few years Guarini and his team raised a substantial amount of capital via another capital raise in 2010. In 2010 United Business Bank, having weathered the 2008 Great Financial Crisis, searched for its first M&A opportunity. “When 2008 hit there were banks failing every Friday,” he remembers. “We didn’t have credit problems, so we sought to buy banks that did.” In 2011 United Business Bank made its first acquisition. In 2018, the bank IPO’d, raising another $65 million and solidifying its status as a public company with a significant capital base. Despite more challenges, including the impact of the 2020 pandemic, United Business Bank navigated the financial landscape adeptly, issuing subordinated debt early that year to mitigate potential damage.
24 | Deluxe Version Magazine
Currently boasting assets of $2.6 billion and 35 offices across multiple states including Colorado, New Mexico, Washington, California, and Nevada. Guarini’s goal is to continue to grow into a mid-sized Western Regional Bank. United Business Bank is committed to practicing personalized, relationship-oriented banking. Guarini and his team emphasize the use of a new system called “LIVE Banking” (Live, Interactive, Virtual, Experience) which allows them to open accounts for prospective and existing clients “any time” from “anywhere” on a personal level through face-to-face interactions, challenging the impersonal norms of the banking industry.
“Most people, especially younger folks, don’t go to the bank much anymore,” says Guarini. “That’s why we’ve created LIVE Banking. Users can go to our website, click on a link or QR code, and hop into a face-to-face meeting with one of our employees, using their phone, IPAD, Laptop or personal computer. It establishes a physical connection without all the organizing and transporting of personal documents to the bank.” Guarini treats the United Business Bank team like family. Unlike larger banks that work in a classist system, Guarini is happy to be the one grabbing coffee for his entry-level employees. “I’m just “George”, not the Founder/CEO,” he says. “When we started there were over 9,000 banks in the country, now there are 4,600. We’re still going strong because we’re a family.” With a commitment to shareholders, a strong capital base, and a unique approach to client interactions, United Business Bank stands out as a beacon of success in an ever-evolving financial landscape.

GEN CLEARY PIONEERS IN WELLNESS WITH SOUND CONNECTIVE
As far back as she can remember, Gen Cleary has been driven by sound.
Growing up in a music-loving family in Montreal, Canada, Gen Cleary was exposed to her dad’s amazing collection of records from an early age. As she got older, her parents would bring her and her brother to live shows and concerts – from Phantom of the Opera to Neil Diamond – and it wasn’t long before she fell in love with live musical performances. Impressed by her rhythmic nature, Gen Cleary’s first dance instructor suggested she study tap. She started dancing professionally at 8 years old, and began choreographing at 13. By age 17 she had begun spearheading her own productions and became involved in creative direction. Gen Cleary started her own production company, Belluscious, in 2003 to create a platform for women performers. Her goal was to elevate the status of women in the entertainment industry and allow them to pursue their artistic dreams in a safe environment. With its high level productions, high-end costumes, and avant-garde choreography, Belluscious became a massive success. Gen Cleary became the creative lead behind Perfecto (featuring Paul Oakenfold), a production which revolutionized the nightlife industry in Las Vegas, and went on to work with super stars such as Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Tiesto, Martin Garrix, and Kaskade. She also served as creative director for special events and international tours with Disney, the Olympics, F1, Eurovision, Mercedes Benz, Ford, and Cirque Du Soleil. Twenty years later, Belluscious is recognized as a pioneer company that established the rules for nightlife performances in Las Vegas and beyond, having produced more than 2000 shows worldwide.
26 | Deluxe Version Magazine
Despite achieving massive success in the entertainment industry, Gen Cleary has decided to pursue a higher purpose: Sound Connective. Following several traumatic experiences, which she was able to overcome with the help of music and sound therapy, Gen Cleary underwent a deep personal awakening and has since focused her creative energy into a new sonic venture.
“Through interactive installations, live shows, conferences, digital platforms and beyond, the goal of Sound Connective is to bring people together and help them leverage and connect with the multidimensionality of sound to improve their wellbeing – all while being entertained,” Gen Cleary explains. Sonically immersive and entertaining experiences at resorts, airports, and other communal spaces will allow people to connect with music and sound like never before, as they disconnect from sensory overstimulation. The first of these experiences, entitled “Hum”, is a one-of-a-kind, full body music immersion designed to revitalize, reset, and relax in less than 5 minutes. This innovative experience goes beyond just listening to music – it taps into the incredible power of sound to connect with your inner self on a deeper level as it also relaxes and energizes you. Users receive frequencies of sound through their entire bodies via unique vibro-haptic technologies, and the feeling of being inside a speaker – feeling every beat and sound in and on your body – will especially appeal to fans of nightclubs and concerts.
After a successful launch at SXSW 2022, Gen Cleary’s new venture has taken the tech-wellness world by storm. Sony Entertainment Japan called The Hum “the entertainment of the future…revolutionizing the way we connect with sound”. The World Experience Organization ranked The Hum in its top 3 “Brain Boosting Functional Experiences.” “It has been proven through scientific studies that music can help us on a daily basis to cope with stress, anxiety and so much more. So, why not listen with our entire bodies to absorb even more of it?” Gen Cleary asks. “Producing entertainment concepts has always been my way to connect with the world, and it is through that channel that I also want to curate unique Sound Connective experiences. We can entertain people as they benefit from the virtues of sound beyond hearing – in fun and revolutionary ways – while making a difference. I call this movement entertainment with a purpose.” With plans to produce as many accessible, onthe-go experiences as possible, Gen Cleary and her pioneering spirit are determined to create a movement aligned with raising awareness to the power of sound. Just as Belluscious changed Vegas nightlife, Sound Connective is set to change the world of tech-wellness.

“I started my first business venture at the age of 17,” Winkler recalls. “Since then, my journey has always been fueled by a passion for recognizing challenges and creating innovative solutions.” Winkler’s inspiration for founding Liquipel arose from a firsthand encounter with a prevalent issue: the vulnerability of electronic devices to water damage. He ultimately chose to follow a different path and ventured into the world of real estate, but despite his initial success, Zeke couldn’t shake the feeling that his heart wasn’t truly in it.

INSIGHTS FROM A FINANCE POWER COUPLE Jay
and Rony Eljaouhari are familydriven, family-focused and family-building entrepreneurs striving to help other families protect their income. Working as financial planners, broker agents and entrepreneurs, this power couple focuses on educating families in Las Vegas to optimize their financial futures. Rony was originally born in Lebanon but raised on the East Coast. Jay was born in Venezuela before coming to the states in 1990 and they met in California where they built a family. Rony began his professional career in the auto industry working his way up from sales manager to finance manager and eventually to General Manager. Jay was doing a great job as a stay-at-home mom turning their house into a home and raising their two children, but Rony wanted to, as always, put family first, so he shifted his career to become a Development Manager for a bank.
“No matter how much money you have, you aren’t going to bring back those lost moments in time,” says Rony. Combining 25+ years of experience in Corporate America with a desire to grow, Jay and Rony gained a deeper understanding of the financial industry and decided to start a business together focusing on their true passion: helping families. “Most people are not educated about finances,” Rony says. “We all know how to spend money, but we have no idea how to make it work for us. We don’t know what to do with it.” Together as Jewel Legacy Corp, their primary goal is to help families with the financial assistance and planning they need. “We help protect their income in case they die too soon and help secure their wealth hoping they live too long,” Jay explained. As licensed broker agents, they assist families with life insurance, investments, college funds, RothIRAs, mutual funds, annuities, senior healthcare, auto and home insurance and everything in between. Life insurance can be a difficult thing to talk about, but Jay and Rony explain the importance of financial planning, financial services and the value they provide. “Having life insurance won’t bring a loved
one back, but it does eliminate a lot of other issues that may come in the future once that loved one is gone. It gives them time to mourn and doesn’t add the financial burden. Life insurance is inexpensive. It’s a necessity. Don’t wait until it’s too late,” Rony says. Through meaningful conversations, they learn about each family’s unique situation. Together with their son, a Broker/Agent at the agency, they discuss the importance of financial planning and protecting money. Jay and Rony are also passionate about helping people with the injustice of some life insurance companies. They help repair issues and put families on the right path. The most special part about their business model? “We don’t charge for our time,” they explained. “We don’t charge to educate, but we provide a service that’s needed by everyone – and we enjoy what we do.” In addition to educating, helping and protecting families, Jay and Rony are actively seeking new team members. “We give the same opportunities to others who want to be a part of our agency. We go out and help them to be able to become entrepreneurs and change their lives.” Jay and Rony cover all costs for licensing and training for their future employees, while guiding them every step of the way. It’s an
opportunity to make more money and become financially free, while helping others. Being married and raising kids while working together has its hurdles and obstacles but the only thing they have to say in response is, “We wish we had done this sooner.” Rony says, “What you gain and what you learn and the feeling you get after helping somebody is unbelievable. It’s the greatest thing.”
“I love this business because of the relationships we’ve built,” Jay adds. “Our clients become our family.” When asked for advice to fellow entrepreneurs, Rony says, “If it’s in your mind and heart, go for it. Do not allow the detours delays or distractions to throw you off course. Being an entrepreneur is not an easy destination to get to.” Jay adds, “Fears kill dreams. As long as you’re living in fear you’re not living.” When they aren’t helping families reach their financial goals, they love traveling, meditating, reading, staying fit and spending time together with their own family,

AGUSTUS MAGHEE
KNOWS LUXURY REAL ESTATE
When it comes to real estate, the glittering city continues to grow at a blistering pace, and it takes a discerning professional realtor to obtain the best acquisitions for both wouldbe home buyers and sellers seeking the highest price for their properties. For Agustus Maghee, real estate is passion and a lifestyle, having personally sold just under $21 million in properties this past year as a part of The Agency. When it came to getting started in his career, Maghee delved head-first into the world of real estate at a family member’s encouragement. He’s now been a practicing real estate agent for nearly a decade, and his impressive sales record speaks to both his business acumen and his commitment to serving clients during typically the priciest investment of their lives. Maghee now works for The Agency, a boutique luxury brokerage. “We focus on high-end clientele breaking into the luxury market”, he says. This has been his primary focus the last 4-5 years. “In Las Vegas, the average current sales price has been hovering around $500k, with anything over $10 million considered uber- luxury,” he explains. “I transitioned to this business easily. David Menocal VALUES A PERSONAL APPROACH
Born in North Carolina and later mov-
ing to Gainesville, Georgia at the age of eight, David Menocal’s journey to becoming a successful personal injury attorney in Las Vegas has been a testament to his hard work and a passion for justice. With a full ride scholarship to Furman University, where he played center on the football team, Menocal’s college experience was far from typical. The small, dry campus of only 3,000 students meant he had to sacrifice the stereotypical college lifestyle, instead treating his education as a job. “I knew my dream of playing in the NFL was unlikely to come true,” says Menocal, “so I focused on leveraging my topnotch education toward a successful career.” In 2010, Menocal enrolled in law school at the prestigious Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to his last year in law school, Menocal interned at law firms in Las Vegas and Orlando, Florida during the summer of 2012. It was during that summer that Menocal realized his dream of practicing law in Vegas. During his last semester of law school at Georgia State, he seized the chance to be a visiting student at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, extending his time in Vegas for an additional 5-6 months. This was when he would meet some of his closest friends and colleagues while still interning for the same firm in Las Vegas, and he fell in love with the city and decided that practicing law there was his ultimate goal. With 10 years of experience under his belt, Menocal’s extensive resume includes positions at some of the biggest firms in Las Vegas, including the DeCastroVerde Law Group and the Richard Harris Law Firm. This year he took a leap of faith and started his own firm, the Menocal Law Group. To his surprise, the firm saw an incredible surge in cases, with an average of 5-6 new clients per week. Since its inception in February, the firm has already signed 150 active cases, settling many of them successfully. Menocal attributes his success to the valuable experience he gained while working at previous firms. He learned the ins and outs of the legal industry and developed a strong work ethic. He acknowledges that Vegas is a competitive market, with countless attorneys vying for clients. However, he considers himself blessed to be able to attract clients through word of mouth and strategic networking efforts.
“We’ve achieved so much success right out of the gate,” says Menocal. “I truly feel blessed.” One of Menocal’s standout qualities is his dedication to maintaining a personal connection with his clients. In an industry where many lawyers never even speak directly to their clients, Menocal takes a different approach. He believes in dealing with clients from A to Z, ensuring that he handles all client contact. Drawing from his own personal experiences, this hands-on approach allows him to build a genuine relationship with his clients. “My wife and I were injured a month ago when a drunk driver rear-ended us ,” he says. “I have also had low back surgery and 4 knee surgeries from football, so I can relate to my clients on a personal level. Now that I have been in a car accident, I am dealing with the legal side of it, so I understand even more know where my clients are coming from.” Menocal’s goal is to be relatable and approachable to his clients. He wants them to see him as a human being first and an attorney second. This philosophy extends beyond the workplace, as Menocal remains true to himself both with his family and in his professional life. By being himself, he creates a comfortable and trusting environment for his clients. Fluency in Spanish has also played a crucial role in Menocal’s career. Las Vegas has a significant Latino population, and Menocal’s ability to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking clients has been invaluable. His passion for his Cuban heritage, stemming from his great-great uncle, who was Cuba’s third President from 1913-1921, fuels his dedication to serving the Hispanic community in Las Vegas. Speaking of heritage, Menocal Law Group is truly a family affair, with Menocal’s wife serving as the Chief Operating Officer and managing the firm’s branding and marketing. Together, they have created a supportive and efficient environment where they can help their clients seek the justice they deserve. By combining his personal experiences with his legal expertise, David Menocal has made a big name for himself in the Las Vegas legal community. With its client-focused approach, passion for justice, and commitment to heritage, Menocal Law Group continues to make a positive impact in the lives of those they represent.

DR. TEDDY SIM
A PA S S I O N F O R PAT I E N T S Dr. Teddy Sim’s journey into the medical field started with
a personal experience that shaped his life and career path. Born with scoliosis, a condition affecting the spine’s alignment, Dr. Ted’s early encounters with healthcare professionals ignited his interest in chiropractic medicine. Today, he is the founder of ChiropracTED, a Las Vegas clinic that stands out for its patient-centric approach and emphasis on education. Dr. Ted’s scoliosis was initially treated conservatively with chiropractic care, sparing him from surgery. This positive outcome fueled his desire to become a chiropractor and help others through this non-invasive and holistic approach. It was during his service in the United States Air Force that Dr. Ted’s resolve was solidified. A deployment during Operation Iraqi Freedom aggravated his scoliosis, but the compassionate care provided by a military chiropractor inspired him further, motivating him to pursue chiropractic medicine wholeheartedly. What Dr. Ted enjoys most about being a chiropractic physician is the unique bond formed with his patients. This relationship is built on trust, not only in his medical expertise, but also in the power of chiropractic medicine’s healing touch. Through manual manipulation of joints and the spine, Dr. Ted helps alleviate pain, inflammation, and pressure on nerves, initiating the body’s natural healing process.
“The bond between patient and doctor is a strong one,” says Dr. Teddy Sim. “When a chiropractor puts their hands on a patient’s body, an instant exchange of energy occurs, and both parties must learn to trust each other.” ChiropracTED sets itself apart from other clinics in Las Vegas through its strong emphasis on patient education. Dr. Ted firmly believes that informed patients can make better decisions about their health and treatment options. From day one, patients receive a comprehensive education about chiropractic fundamentals and their personalized treatment plans.

The clinic also collaborates with medical doctors, pain specialists, orthopedists, and surgeons to ensure patients have a full understanding of their overall healthcare journey. Inspired by the growing passion of other chiropractors and individuals dedicated to improving the community’s health, Dr. Ted serves as the President of the Nevada Chiropractic Council. He strives to promote chiropractic medicine’s efficacy and benefits while upholding the profession’s core principles of drug-free, holistic healing.
“Our mission statement truly epitomizes our role here in Nevada. Chiropractic Medicine is a principled, drug-free profession with the primary objective of restoring and promoting optimum health through correction of subluxations.” Looking ahead, Dr. Ted envisions continued personal and professional growth in the next five years. He intends to focus on ongoing education while maintaining balance in all aspects of his life. Physical fitness, which he is also passionate about, complements his chiropractic practice, helping him achieve equilibrium—a calm state of mind that promotes overall well-being. With a heart full of passion for chiropractic medicine and a commitment to educating patients, Dr. Teddy Sim is a driving force in his field. ICONS OF MIAMI
ALEJANDRO GALINDEZ ON GIVING THE GIFT OF FUN
As a child, Alejandro Galindez discovered the
profound joy of making others smile and extending a helping hand. Simple acts like helping his parents with household chores, opening the door for a stranger, or sharing his lunch on pizza day with a hungry classmate (despite it being his favorite!) all left a lasting impact on him. This early affinity for bringing happiness to people’s lives instilled a sense of purpose in young Alejandro and would eventually lead to his calling – the creation of the FUNGIV Foundation.
“The FUNGIV Foundation is a charitable organization that specializes in hosting social and interactive events designed to unite and empower communities while making the world a better place,” says Alejandro. Through these initiatives, Alejandro has partnered with various do-good organizations and big-hearted people to spread smiles and hope to others in need. FUNGIV and its partners have hosted everything from Toy Drives with the United Way and the Chapman Partnership Foundation for kids during the holidays, to Beach
44 | Deluxe Version Magazine
Clean-Ups and planting trees with Miami Dade County, to Dodgeball Tournaments and Virtual Workouts to raise funds and awareness for the Irie Foundation and the Lotus House, to Lunch Build-a-Bag events that have fed thousands of under-resourced individuals. Alejandro’s unique approach to philanthropy revolves around motivating people to help others by doing activities they already enjoy. He coined the term “FUNGIV” (have fun while giving) to encapsulate the essence of this approach. “It’s similar to the concept of having so much fun you forget you’re exercising,” he explains. “The goal is to make acts of kindness an integral part of people’s daily lives.” Alejandro considers his role at FUNGIV to be like running a regular business, but with one key difference. Instead of measuring success through how much profit was made, it’s about how many lives they’ve touched and the positive impact they’ve made. “For me, the gratification that comes from helping others far surpasses any monetary gain.”
While the foundation is currently making a modest impact in South Florida, Alejandro’s vision extends to a larger scale. He envisions the organization hosting “give-back” initiatives across the country. Moreover, FUNGIV aims to establish a strong online presence, offering e-commerce sales with proceeds going toward charitable causes, providing education and training in essential life and parenting skills, and offering financial support programs to those in need. Outside of his philanthropic endeavors, Alejandro Galindez finds joy in activities like playing chess, spearfishing, and cherishing moments with his family (especially now with his new 4-month-old son). For Alejandro, life is a continuous journey of giving, spreading happiness, and making the world a better place, and he will continue to do so through FUNGIV.

Goldberg A PASSION FOR INJURY LAW — By Ryan Gillum K atie Goldberg, the founder of Goldberg Injury Law, is not your typical attorney. With a unique blend of passion, dedication, and a personal touch, she has made a significant impact in the Las Vegas legal landscape. Goldberg’s journey into law was inspired by her parents. Her father was a personal injury attorney in Las Vegas, and her mother helped manage the office. Growing up, she witnessed the profound impact her parents had on the lives of their clients. Their ability to help people during challenging times left an indelible mark on young Katie, and it became clear from a young age that she wanted to follow in their footsteps. Goldberg attended college at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, before returning to Las Vegas to study law at William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV. After law school, Goldberg worked at a big personal injury law firm for 6 years, where she successfully participated in trials, arbitrations, mediations, and even argued before the Nevada Supreme Court.
“My experience studying and practicing law in Las Vegas has been amazing,” says Goldberg. “I am so grateful for the local community and the connections I have made.” Goldberg Injury Law opened in July of 2020. As a boutique personal injury law firm, Katie and her team specialize in helping victims of car accidents, slip and falls, trip and falls, medical malpractice, and product liability, offering an unparalleled level of personal attention to their clients. By maintaining a low client-tocase manager ratio, Katie ensures that each case receives the attention it deserves. In fact, each client has Katie’s direct cell phone number, ensuring immediate feedback and support.
“Accessibility is key,” she says. “I make myself available at all hours to ensure my clients get the help they need when they need it.” Katie Goldberg has extensive experience in litigation, including trials, arbitrations, and mediations. Her ability to resolve cases quickly and effectively, often securing maximum value settlements, stems from her deep knowledge of the legal process and her excellent relationships with judges, insurance adjusters, and defense attorneys. Over her nine years in practice, Katie has met countless individuals and made a lasting impact on the Las Vegas community by providing top-notch legal representation.
“The opportunity to help people during one of the most challenging times in their lives is what keeps me going,” she says. “It’s a truly rewarding experience.” Katie’s track record speaks for itself. Recently, she achieved remarkable results on several challenging cases, including a trip and fall in-
cident in a local hotel’s parking lot. The case was resolved in less than a year and a half, resulting in a high six-figure settlement without the need for litigation. She also secured a substantial settlement in a side-swipe motor vehicle accident case well before the statute of limitations expired, sparing her client the stress of prolonged litigation. Looking ahead, Katie envisions her firm growing with more associate attorneys, allowing them to assist even more injured victims in the Las Vegas Valley. When she’s not practicing law, Katie enjoys spending time with her family, exploring Las Vegas’s culinary scene, and traveling to new destinations. Her love for fashion, beauty, and pop culture adds a vibrant dimension to her life beyond the courtroom. In Katie Goldberg, you’ll find not just an attorney but a compassionate advocate who goes above and beyond to ensure justice and support for her clients. TIFFANIE CRADDOCK EMPOWERS STRONG BRAND COLLABORATIONS
Tiffanie Craddock’s journey into the modeling
industry is nothing short of a fascinating twist of fate. Her career began with a chance encounter on a rainy day in Chicago, where a canceled White Sox game led her to a local bar and an unexpected encounter with the Vice President of Playboy Magazine. Little did she know, this casual contact would set her on the path to becoming a successful model and the owner of her own agency, TLC Models. Despite her self-professed tomboyish nature, Craddock embraced the modeling world when she received a photoshoot opportunity from Playboy. The resulting photos opened the door to several modeling jobs and a career path she had never envisioned. While modeling Craddock focused on completing her studies, graduating with honors and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Illinois State University.
“After College, I was offered a great corporate job in Chicago,” says Craddock. “It wasn’t until later that I received those photos and was able to submit them for modeling jobs.”
Modeling quickly became Tiffanie’s passion, filling her schedule with print, runway, promotions, and brand ambassador roles. The thrill of expressing herself in ways she had never dreamed of was immensely fulfilling. In just a few months, her earnings as a model far surpassed what she made at a typical 9-5 job. Craddock relocated to Las Vegas in 2011.
“I arrived with the aim of securing a fulltime job, but I was completely bored at all the interviews I had,” Craddock recalls. “That’s when I decided to wholeheartedly embrace the world of promotions and events.” Two years later, TLC Models was born, marking the beginning of an incredible journey. As the owner of TLC Models, Craddock’s primary goal is to empower women and provide them with opportunities for successful careers. Her motivation stems from her own experiences within various modeling agencies, where fair payment practices and the treatment of models were often lacking.
TLC Models prioritizes both model and client satisfaction without compromising on quality service. Over the past decade, the agency has not only witnessed its talent evolve and mature but achieved remarkable success as well. With Craddock’s guidance, TLC Models has contributed greatly to its models’ financial stability, brand development, and future exposure.
“I have the opportunity to witness remarkable people achieve extraordinary feats,” she shares. “Now, being a mother to two daughters, the entire experience holds an even deeper significance.” Looking ahead, Tiffanie Craddock envisions TLC Models becoming the foremost luxury event staffing agency in the United States with her newest headquarters based in Chicago. Collaborations with the Formula 1 Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix and the upcoming 2024 Super Bowl are just a few of TLC Models’ exciting and innovative projects. Stay tuned for many more to come.

LUXURIOUS STYLE WITHIN REACH
In the realm of luxury handbags, few are as
well-versed as Jamie Manzuik. Her passion, determination, and commitment to making elegance accessible to everyone has made her a leader in the Resale Revolution. Growing up in Monterey County, California, Manzuik was inspired by the elegance and poise of her grandmother from a young age. “Always adorned in the finest attire, her ensemble was a masterpiece from head to toe – clothing, shoes, and her impeccably matched handbag,” she recalls. “Growing up, I inherited her penchant for luxury, always aspiring to own at least one exquisite item.” Years later, as a college student, Manzuik got her first taste of the luxury world when she received a Christian Dior handbag as a gift from her sister. That moment marked the beginning of a lifelong obsession with handbags.
“I couldn’t revert to non-branded bags anymore,” recalls Manzuik. “The allure of luxury had captivated me.” Over the next several years, Manzuik would amass a large collection of high-end handbags. She would eventually discover S2C, founded by sisters Monica Tapia Mularski and Ericka Schrieber, while attending a live shopping event.

Watching Monica and Ericka was like shopping with friends that you could trust.” While the luxury market isn’t always forgiving, with soaring prices putting some items out of reach, Manzuik’s business model changes that narrative. She firmly believes that second-hand luxury isn’t just about being nice to your wallet; it’s also about recycling, supporting sustainability, and avoiding the often unethical origins of fake bags. “Why buy second-hand?” she asks. “Easy. You’re saving money, you’re helping someone clean their closet, you’re helping the Earth, and you’re not supporting forced labor.” Another of Manzuik’s passions is fitness and wellness. During the COVID lockdown, after suffering through a decade of relentless back pain, she would experience a terrifying episode of immobility, rendering her unable to walk. An MRI would reveal a need for immediate spinal surgery, so amidst the pandemic’s uncertainty, she embarked on a solitary battle, navigating recovery without visitors and relying on a walker. Manzuik would persevere through two surgeries – resulting in an intricate network of screws, rods, and plates – and emerge stronger than ever. One year after recovery she would enter a WBFF fitness com-
petition and rank among the world’s top 17 competitors in her division. “My fitness journey, from learning how to walk again to peak physique, is a source of personal inspiration and pride,” she says. “It taught me that resilience is the key to success.” Manzuik’s resilience has helped her in the fashion world as well, building Season 2 Consign Las Vegas into the top local source for second-hand luxury handbags. We asked her what she enjoys most about her new project, and what she would consider her favorite highend handbag. “My favorite part about what I do is having the ability to sell someone a beautiful piece at an incredible discount, especially when it’s their first luxury handbag,” she replies. “As for my personal favorite – I’d have to go with the Chanel classic double flap medium with silver-tone hardware.” Jamie Manzuik holds strongly to the belief that luxury isn’t just for the elite – it’s for everyone who dares to dream and desire. If you’re looking to acquire an exquisite luxury handbag for a fraction of the cost, look no further than Season 2 Consign Las Vegas.

MEET TOP LUXURY BROKER
CHRISHENA STANLEY Obtaining a successful real estate brokerage in mul-
tiple cities doesn’t just happen overnight. It takes grit, determination, and an elusive blend of charm, business acumen, and foresight. For Chrishena Stanley, Broker/Owner of STK Property Group, her ability to encompass all of these traits has led to her success after years of hard work. After growing up in Manhattan and witnessing her mother working in real estate herself, Stanley moved to Miami post-college and was soon licensed to practice in 2003. She later moved to California to work on the commercial side of real estate, before heading back to her initial area of concentration, residential. She spent stints at Coldwell and then Engel & Volkers, before ultimately getting her broker’s license and breaking out to start her own firm. STK Property Group currently has a presence in Atlanta and Las Vegas.
Stanley says a typical STK Property Group client is seeking high-end, luxury properties. “They’re purchasing homes as upgrades or remodel upgrades in the luxury market. They typically aren’t first-time home buyers - they tend to be more seasoned, “she says. And with that experience, comes discernment.
Although it might appear Stanley followed in her mother’s real estate footsteps, her path was circuitous at first. She initially pursued an undergraduate degree in Journalism/Communications, working stints at CNN and MTV. She was forced to reevaluate her path, however, when her father passed.
“My clients typically know what they want. On the listing side, they don’t want to leave a dollar on the table, and on the buyers, side, they’re just as savvy,” she laughs. “On both ends, I am working hard to satisfy the client; on the listing side I am working to get them the absolute top dollar, and when they’re buying I am negotiating with them to get ideal value.”
“When [he] passed, it caused me to take a break and step away…I always put myself under a great deal of pressure…” she says.
Chrishena Stanley says the most validating aspect of her chosen career is maintaining relationships with her clients over the years.
After the devastation of losing a parent, one bright spot amidst the darkness was the ability to slow down, reassess her life, and ultimately pursue her real estate license.
“What I really love about this business is that it’s a people business, and I am a people person,” she says. “I have clients who started out buying a studio condo, and now [years later] I’ve seen them through to having family homes, multiple kids and a spouse,” she laughs. “You get to knowing they trust you, and it creates a great bond. You’re truly helping them with their best investments.”
“Yes, my mom was in it, and I [kind of] fell into it….and now I can’t imagine doing anything else.”
In addition to her Real Estate career and earlier positions at MTV and CNN, Stanley has appeared on WEtv’s “Selling It in the ATL” (2015), a docuseries focusing on the lives of seven women in the Atlanta real estate industry and their exploits as movers and shakers in the market. “I loved having that experience,” Stanley says. “It granted me an opportunity to [further] see how production worked, on the TV side of it.” If the opportunity came up again, she says she’d love to do a show that was even more real estate focused, with maybe less drama for the cameras. “Negotiating contracts, showcasing the legal end of it…I feel like that concept could really relate to and engage viewers,” she says. As to the future of STK Property Group, Stanley says she wants to continue to splice her time between Miami and Las Vegas, steadily maintaining and building her business clientele in both areas.
“I am very selective about who I work with, but I’d love to grow my brokerage,” she says. In her spare time, Stanley enjoys giving back to her communities. She enjoys volunteering with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Las Vegas, as well as Habitat for Humanity. She says she looks forward to giving back more. When she isn’t working or volunteering, she enjoys travel, time with friends, and exercise with her husband and dogs.
