NICK NILSON
Apart from Easter and Christmas, Nick Nilson hardly ever went to church as a child.
Growing up in Beloit, Wisconsin, Nilson’s early life revolved around football. His natural athletic ability and skill at the running back position earned him several scholarship offers from Division 1 universities. Nilson’s college aspirations would be put on hold, however, after suffering a severe knee injury. It would force him to reevaluate his future, and ultimately lead him on a journey to discover his purpose. “That injury was the first test of my faith,” says Nilson. “God worked on my heart during rehab, and I stepped away from pursuing college football to pursue the ministry instead. God didn’t bring the injury, but He used it, allowing me to slowly walk away from what I thought I wanted to do and focus on what I was made to do.”

His current role includes serving on Lakewood’s teaching team and aiding in the development of the church’s staff and ministry teams. He is also a consultant and public speaker with a large global following.

Nilson’s new book, entitled You Can Live the Dream, provides readers with essential tools for discovering their God given purpose and reach their full potential. He says his hope is that we can “begin to understand and experience the power of perspective, and how we may be one perspective shift away from experiencing joy, peace, and satisfaction!” “I hope my new book becomes a way of life for people and allows them to experience a joyful state of mind, wherever they’re at. It highlights the power of letting go, valuing progress over perfection, and stepping out into the unknown in the face of fear.” Deluxe Version asked him how he feels faith and leadership intertwine. “They go hand in hand. If you want to leave a lasting impact it begins with serving others. There’s a chapter in You Can Live the Dream entitled “Power Move” which examines John 13:3-14, where Jesus exercises his authority, position, and influence by serving. Leading is serving, and it’s in serving others where we discover true satisfaction and fulfillment!”
At age 18, Nilson left the path of partying and popularity seeking behind and set his sights on becoming a pastor.
“I’ve always had a passionate desire to help people,” he says. “During my search for peace and fulfillment Jesus offered me a solution, and it changed my life forever.” After attending college in Rockford Illinois, Nilson moved to Houston, Texas. He would serve as Lakewood Church’s youth and young adult pastor for 12 years before becoming the Associate Pastor.

THE MISSING PEACE Jared Nieman was destined to preach the word of God.
He was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. His parents, Charles and Rochelle Nieman, started Abundant Church in 1977. Over the course of the past forty-plus years, Abundant Church’s congregation has grown to include more than 20,000 members. After his mother Rochelle passed away in 2012, Jared and his sister Shannon were propelled into prominent leadership roles within the church. Since then, Jared has also become a successful motivational speaker, author, podcaster, and community leader. Pastor Jared’s new book, entitled The Missing Peace, has sold well over 10,000 copies and tackles tough topics such as anxiety, depression, suicide, addiction, and PTSD. He even shares his own journey dealing with addiction and how he was able to overcome it.

“I believe The Missing Peace will help people because it was written transparently,” says Pastor Jared. “Being a Christian means serving God and being faithful, but it also means grinding and battling through trials and challenges, overcoming failures. JESSE METCALFE THE EVOLUTION OF A HOLLYWOOD HEARTTHROB
Growing up in a single-parent household in New London, Connecticut, With his mother and stepfather frequently at work, young Metcalfe often found himself home alone, where he developed a deep love for movies. His Dad fueled his enthusiasm with frequent visits to the local movie theater. One viewing in particular – “The Breakfast Club” at the tender age of seven – would prove to be a life-changing experience.
It was the hit show “Desperate Housewives” that propelled Metcalfe into the spotlight. Playing the role of John Rowland alongside co-star Eva Longoria, Metcalfe helped create a spicy on-screen chemistry that captivated audiences for six of the show’s eight seasons. This success led to his first starring role in a feature film, “John Tucker Must Die,” in 2006, which gained a quasi-cult following despite its initially negative critical reception. Three years later he would star as C.J. Nicholas in the remake of Fritz Lang’s 1956 noir film “Beyond a Reasonable Doubt” – opposite the legendary Michael Douglas.
“The Breakfast Club was a real eye-opener for me, especially at such a young age,” says Metcalfe. “It was my first taste of a true cult-classic.”
As both his fame and the rise of internet paparazzi culture reached a fever pitch, Metcalfe found himself yearning for a sense of normalcy. He grew increasingly aware of the importance of privacy for celebrities. This heightened sensitivity caused him to actively avoid unnecessary exposure.
Jesse Metcalfe found solace and inspiration in the world of film and television.
Determined to turn his passion into a career, Metcalfe pursued his love of film at New York University’s Gallatin School. He would later transfer to the highly competitive Tisch School of the Arts, where he cut his teeth and engaged in heated debates with fellow classmates. Although he dropped out of NYU before graduating in 1999, fate had something else in store for him. On a whim, Metcalfe auditioned for the daytime TV show “Passions” during a countrywide talent search, despite having zero acting experience. Against all odds he landed a role and spent five years in the world of soap operas. Feeling the desire to challenge himself further, he took a leap of faith and entered the competitive realm of primetime television.
“After five years in daytime I decided to roll the dice,” says Metcalfe. “It was arguably the best career decision I could have made.”

“The paparazzi were extremely antagonistic in the early 2000s. These days, in the age of social media, there’s less of an appetite for photos of celebrities in their day-to-day life. It’s nice to be a normal human being again.” From 2012 to 2014 Metcalfe starred in the critically acclaimed reboot of “Dallas” for three seasons, impressing both critics and fans of the 1978 original. Then, from 2017-2022, he would showcase both his acting and musical talents in the Hallmark Channel series “Chesapeake Shores,” writing and performing original songs that became synonymous with the show. Metcalfe began singing in grade school and honed his skills playing guitar in high school. His love for Southern Rock and grunge music, inspired by bands like the Allman Brothers and Alice in Chains, helped shape his eclectic musical taste.
“I often joke that I was born in the wrong era,” he says. “My favorite music is Southern Rock from the 60s and 70s, but I also love 90s grunge and a multitude of other genres.” In recent years, Metcalfe has begun a conscious shift away from the lightweight, romantic leads of a matinee idol to more complex character roles. His current projects include a Lifetime adaptation of V. C. Andrews’ “Dawn” book series, set in the early 70’s. The story follows a girl (Brec Bassinger) who discovers that she was born into a family with a dark and twisted past. Metcalfe plays the title character‘s father. Another project, Amazon Studios’ “On A Wing and a Prayer,” is based on harrowing true events and portrays Metcalfe as real-life pilot Keri Sorensen, opposite actors Dennis Quaid and Heather Graham. Other projects in post-production include an action film opposite Clive Staton (Vikings) and Stephen Dorf (Public Enemies, True Detective), and a comedy about a down and out comic bookstore owner in Las Vegas entitled “Comic Shop.” When he’s not on set, Metcalfe puts an emphasis on improving his mental and physical health, alleviating stress in the gym while weight training, boxing, and practicing jiu-jitsu. He is also an avid car collector (his collection includes a 1970 Chevy Chevelle and 1987 Porsche Turbo) and motorcycle enthusiast.
“I’m passionate about anything with an engine and I like to go fast,” grins Metcalfe. “I have an affinity for 90’s street bikes - I own a 1990 Honda RC30, 1991 Yamaha Genesis and 1990 Kawasaki Ninja.” Jesse Metcalfe is truly a modern-day Renaissance man. THE BREAKTHROUGH ARTIST THAT MADE HER WAY TO THE TOP OFCHARTS WITH HER SONG “SAY MY NAME.” You may have seen Destiny Malibu’s face on billboards in Vegas or in LA. Or perhaps you were lucky enough to catch her recent jaw-dropping performance in the Shag Room at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. The highlight of the night: her rendition of “At Last” by Etta James. You could hear a pin drop. “That was the best rendition of ‘At Last’ that I’ve ever heard in my life,” said the sound engineer. “I was speechless.” Originally from California, Destiny often drew inspiration from the ocean. Now a Lake Las Vegas resident, she loves being able to live by the water, even in the middle of the desert. Having overcome many obstacles, the topic of mental health is extremely important to Destiny. It’s a theme she often includes in her songwriting, the best example being her recently released single “Say My Name,” with nearly 1.5 million YouTube views. You can hear it at the start of her podcast – The Destiny Malibu Podcast – which is currently ranked in the top five percent of the nation.
“My song “Say My Name” touches on an important subject, mental health, and my struggles with it. It’s an anthem of hope, emphasizing that true happiness doesn’t come from external factors like money, power, looks, or fame. Instead, it’s an inside job. I wanted to create something that resonates with anyone going through similar challenges, letting them know they’re not alone and that there is hope. The song encourages us to not be afraid to call out for help, and it also encourages us to be there for one another” The lyrics remind listeners to be that friend who says, “Hey if you’re going through a hard time, even if you’re broken down on the side of the road in the pouring rain, just say my name I got you, I will never leave you.”
“I incorporated both singing and elements of rap in the song because I wanted to share many details of my story, and rap provided me with the creative space to do that. Plus, I love songs with dynamic changes, and for me the changes from rapping to singing in “Say My Name” keep the song very entertaining. We have gotten an amazing response to the song so far and I’m thankful to know that people are resonating with the message.” She looks forward to hitting the road in her new tour bus – which she has casually nicknamed “Paradise,” – and playing a host of colleges and other top national venues in promotion of her fourth studio album. As an added bonus, her podcast co-host and sister, DJ Dezzee, will be curating the music in between sets.

SEAN PALMIERI THRIVING IN REALITY & REAL ESTATE
In the realm of luxury real estate, Sean Palmieri has made quite a name for himself.
His inspiring path has taken him from the vibrant shores of Miami to the most glamorous neighborhoods of Los Angeles and beyond. Along the way, he has become a sought-after expert in marketing and sales, working with some of the most prestigious names in the industry. Palmieri’s story begins in West Palm Beach, Florida, where he spent his formative years. After high school, Palmieri made his way to Gainesville, where he pursued a degree in Advertising at the University of Florida. It was during this time that his interest in real estate began to crystallize. Upon graduating, Palmieri dove headfirst into the world of real estate, joining the prestigious One Sotheby’s International Realty. It was here that he found himself running the Sales and Operations of Zaha Hadid’s iconic One Thousand Museum, a stunning architectural masterpiece. The allure of One Thousand Museum captured Palmieri’s imagination, and he eagerly embraced the opportunity to be part of such a groundbreaking project. The first and last residential skyscraper designed by Zaha Hadid, One Thousand Museum is a living piece of art with units starting at $6 million, boasting a $50 million penthouse. As part of the Sotheby’s Development Division, Palmieri managed daily operations, conducted site tours, and oversaw marketing efforts. During his time with One Thousand Museum, Palmieri aided in planning several high-profile events. One of the more notable events he organized was a luncheon for Haute Living, which was hosted by Jada Pinkett Smith. These experiences allowed Palmieri to witness the day-to-day processes of running a highprofile development and solidified his belief that he had found his dream job straight out of college.
“I’m so grateful for my time in South Florida,” says Palmieri. “Working with One Sotheby’s helped me learn the ins and outs of luxury real estate and allowed me to network and connect with top-tier clientele. It was the perfect way to kickstart my career.”
Although Palmieri initially had no plans of leaving Miami, life often has a way of leading us to unexpected places. A visit to San Diego to see family opened his eyes to the beauty and allure of the Southern California lifestyle. It was his first time experiencing that region of So-Cal, and he immediately fell in love with it. This newfound appreciation prompted him to explore different branches of Sotheby’s in California. Palmieri’s talent and dedication caught the attention of the Head of Marketing at Pacific Sotheby’s, leading to a life-changing opportunity. Upon recruitment, he made the bold decision to move to San Diego and serve as the Director of Marketing for San Diego’s #1 Team. Palmieri’s achievements did not go unnoticed, and in two years he received another enticing offer from Beverly Hills. He would join Coldwell Banker’s Global Luxury Division, spearheading the Luxury Marketing department to work with the top 1% of agents, including Joyce Rey and Jade Mills, the agents notable for their historic sales of homes such as the Chartwell Estate and the Playboy Mansion, to name a few. Palmieri’s mastery of marketing made him the goto expert for strategic placement and branding for over 25 of the top teams in Los Angeles County. He handled the top budget at Coldwell Banker for two years, elevating their marketing efforts to new heights. While becoming instrumental in running the marketing for LA’s top teams, Palmieri gained a wellrenowned reputation in the process. His involvement with the top tier groups also brought him into notice with the producers of the reality series “Selling the OC.”
“I received an unexpected DM from a Casting Director one night,” says Palmieri. “I was super skeptical at first, so I did my research and looked up the production company and saw that it was owned by the same Executive Producer of iconic reality shows such as ‘The Hills’, ‘Laguna Beach’ and of course, ‘Selling Sunset’. That’s when I realized it was legit!’”
Palmieri would eventually join the Oppenheim Group, a boutique brokerage unlike anything he had experienced before. Reality TV was a stark departure from Palmieri’s typically private nature. While he struggled initially with the constant presence of cameras, he gradually grew more comfortable, allowing his true personality to shine through. Drawing from his brief background in improv and a few film courses he took in college, Palmieri found his groove and embraced the unique challenges of on-screen life.
“Having twenty people in a room filming you while you’re working with clients can be stressful,” he says. “But sometimes you forget the cameras are even there. That’s when the magic happens.” As he continues his work in real estate, Palmieri has witnessed the ongoing expansion of the Oppenheim Group, with new offices opening in San Diego, Cabo San Lucas, and Los Angeles. These developments have further solidified the Oppenheim Group’s position as a powerhouse in the luxury real estate market, and Palmieri’s role in marketing and working with top agents has allowed him to build an extensive network within the industry. When he’s not working – on or off set – Palmieri finds time for solace and enjoyment in nature. A beach bum at heart, he adores exploring private and remote beaches and embracing the serenity of the ocean. Palmieri has a deep appreciation for spirituality, often seeking moments of tranquility and connection through meditation. For fun, Palmieri finds joy in hosting and attending dinner parties, relishing the opportunity to cook and share good food with friends. Originally from Russia, she founded Elena Bulatova Fine Art with her husband and fellow artist, Efi Meshiah, just over ten years ago in Palm Springs, California. The eclectic entrepreneur was kind enough to provide us with some insight into her creative and colorful world. What was your introduction to art? My introduction to art was through my parents, who were both very interested in the arts. They would often take me to museums and galleries, and I was exposed to different styles and mediums at a young age. I loved the experience of seeing different artwork and being able to appreciate their beauty and creativity. Who is your biggest artistic inspiration? There are many artists who inspire me, but if I had to choose just a few, I would say Jeff Koons, Damien Hirst, Yayoi Kusama, and Takashi Murakami. I am drawn to their innovative use of materials and their ability to create works that are both thought-provoking and visually stunning. I also have a great appreciation for female abstract expressionists such as Joan Mitchell and Helen Frankenthaler, whose bold and expressive paintings continue to inspire me. How would you describe your approach to making art? My approach to making art is very intuitive. I love to experiment with different materials and techniques, and I let the process guide me. I don’t usually have a specific plan or composition in mind when I start a piece – I just let the painting develop organically. I enjoy the journey of creating and the surprises that come along the way. What do you enjoy most about commercial and industrial art projects? I enjoy the collaboration. It’s exciting to work with other designers to create something that’s not just beautiful, but also functional. I also enjoy the interior design aspect. As an artist, I have a keen eye for how different artworks can enhance and transform a space. Working with builders and interior designers to curate art collections for homes, offices, or public spaces is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on people’s daily lives.

My YouTube channel @elenabulatovafineart is a way for me to connect with a wider audience and share my artistic process with others. As an artist with galleries in different states (California, Nevada, and Florida) which ship art all over the world (Australia, Asia, and Europe) I am unable to meet every one of our collectors in person. The channel allows me to share my vision, talk about our latest pieces, and discuss art trends. I post videos of my creative process, including time-lapse videos of my paintings, and I love interacting with my subscribers and answering their questions. It’s a way to engage with my audience and build a community around my art. I am also excited to work with producers of Netflix shows and other Hollywood productions where our art is showcased regularly. It’s a thrill to see my artwork featured in popular TV shows and movies, and it’s a testament to the quality of our pieces. It’s a great opportunity to showcase our artwork to a wider audience and to collaborate with talented individuals in the entertainment industry. What is your greatest passion aside from art? Philanthropy. I believe in using my platform as an artist to make a positive impact in my community and beyond. Recently, I became an ambassador in the campaign for the American Cancer Society called Power in Purple. As an ambassador, I was seeking to increase awareness and secure donations for The American Cancer Society. I have also donated my artwork to auctions for multiple organizations such as St. Jude, MakeA-Wish Foundation, Heart of Education honoring Nevada teachers, Nevada Ballet, and many more. Giving back and using my art for a good cause is a deeply fulfilling experience, and I plan to continue to use my platform to make a positive impact in the world. How do you see art evolving over the next ten years? I think art will continue to evolve in exciting ways over the next ten years. Digital art and virtual reality are already pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, and I think we’ll see even more innovation in these areas. I also believe that traditional art forms will always have a place in the world. I think there will be a growing appreciation for handmade and artisanal pieces, as people seek out unique and meaningful works. I also believe that art will continue to be a powerful tool for social change and activism, as artists use their work to address important issues and spark meaningful conversations.

MICAH MCDONALD ENTREPRENEUR TO WATCH Talk to many adults, and chances are, they’ll describe their innate sense of wonder and oversized dreams stemming from childhood. That common thread often ends, however, in the execution of those goals- therein lies the difference between those who obtain success beyond their wildest dreams, and those with ambition but little resolve.
“What I envision over the next few years is continued growth. As an existing organized entity, we’re currently in the process of bringing in more team members, identifying properties, and securing capital.”
For real estate mogul, entrepreneur, and investor Micah McDonald, those two very traits - Texas-sized dreams and resolve - have yielded success in a dizzying array of diversified business models.
In Texas specifically, McDonald has his sights set on Houston, Austin, and San Antonio, with primarily multifamily projects. “A lot of investors like things built and occupied,” he says. “I love to build”.
“I’m probably an entrepreneur more than anything,” Micah McDonald says. “I’ve invested money in different places, [have that hunger] of never being quite satisfied, and… I’m not afraid to jump into new ventures.”
This love of building, growth, and expansion is a common theme throughout our conversation. In addition to being a dreamer, his mentor inspired in him the ability to celebrate wins, keep motivating himself, and know that all it takes is inspiring one person- and remember how much he benefitted from a chance encounter.
Over time, he attributes much of his successes to honing in on specific strategies and sharpening his business acumen through trial and error.
As a former athlete, McDonald agrees that fitness is paramount in his life—in fact, he rates it as a priority above all else.
Born and raised in Alief, Texas, a working-class suburb of Houston, McDonald takes pride in his humble beginnings. As one of eight kids, he cites hardworking parents and his love of athletics as contributing factors to shaping who he would become. After receiving a scholarship to play basketball at local Houston Baptist University, McDonald admits to finding himself at an impasse- he wasn’t sure what he wanted to do with the rest of his life. He pivoted, and after a few years of community college and later a degree from the University of Houston, he landed a position at ExxonMobil.
“Every day is busy, but I make fitness a priority. I consider myself a lifelong athlete,” he says. “Mobility, health, longevity, and keep moving—it all parallels my business successes. It is truly my form of self-care and self-love. Ultimately, it helps exponentially in all other facets of my existence.”
True to his introspective nature, McDonald looks at this as a learning experience as well, despite soon realizing the 9-5 grind was not for him. It would, however, provide an unexpected invaluable aspect - a mentor who took Micah under his wing. Under this man’s tutelage, “My mindset changed, and I wasn’t scared to dream and just go for it,” he says. “I am a walking example of anyone can accomplish anything they want- just go for it.” Other lessons he gleaned? “Being taught to never take ‘no’ for an answer, just watching these [salespeople] in action, working through problems…that’s truly all business is, but a lot of people fail because of roadblocks.” Witnessing his mentor’s resilience truly changed his whole mindset, he stresses. He oversees real estate development in LA, Florida, and Houston. He is currently in the process of significantly expanding in the Texas market. Thanks to a growing team, he is optimistic about expansion in the near future.

What else is on the horizon for this serial entrepreneur? A new tequila and mezcal brand called “Trulusso” is set to launch late this spring, one that McDonald is incredibly excited about. He also says he’s expanding his portfolio by investing in a few surgery centers, as well as leveling up on multi-family business development projects. Micah McDonald’s other passion lies in a nonprofit he founded called the Lucky 13 Foundation, which seeks to benefit underserved individuals and families, starting in his humble hometown of Alief. Giving back, keeping humble, and expressing gratitude for what he has obtained keeps him grounded, and passionate about all that lies in his continued path of success in the future.

The luxurious Lounge is hands-down the perfect place to host a meetand-greet like this. It’s the first stop as you enter the 14,000-square-foot award-winning seafood and steakhouse located high above Las Vegas Boulevard and Harmon. One could say a prime location.
In addition to that spacious, Vegas-only view, there is an exclusive SinCity-only caviar and vodka service, while the Lounge menu includes lobster, oysters 3-ways, A5 wagyu and yes, more caviar!

At Urban Aesthetics + Skin Bar, patients can

For owner and CEO Jordan White, it is the only way he knows how to do business. “As a boutique luxury medical aesthetics practice, we like to differentiate ourselves from other med spas, focusing primarily on the medical side of aesthetic medicine. We are more focused on injectables such as dermal fillers, bio-regenerative injectables, and neuromodulators such as Botox. We also specialize in advanced laser treatments by utilizing eight different lasers that can treat any skin condition,” White says. In addition to owning the practices, Jordan White is a highly sought-after national trainer and speaker for advanced injectables, educating plastic surgeons and other medical professionals on medical innovations in the field. Prior to opening his Gilbert, Arizona location, White helped open two other Med Spas in the area. His background also includes work in Trauma and Critical Care on Life Flight Network’s Medevac team for several years. Bowling played a pivotal role as General Manager in the launch of Capella Pedregal in Cabo San Lucas, BCS México, in September 2008. Capella Pedregal also garnered recognition from Condé Nast Traveler, being featured on the “Hotlist” in 2010 and earning the cover of “Best in the World” in 2011. From July 2012 to July 2017, Bowling served as the Managing Director of the iconic One&Only Palmilla resort in Los Cabos, Baja Peninsula, Mexico. Under his leadership, the 173-bedroom luxury flagship resort underwent two magnificent refurbishments and attained the number one position in Condé Nast Traveler. Known for attracting the crème de la crème of American society, celebrities, and global VIPs, the resort flourished under Bowling’s guidance. With over 900 employees, he achieved industry awards and accolades while enhancing the resort’s reputation through a strong social media presence and innovative marketing strategies. In 2017 alone, the resort generated $84 million in revenue, with a record-breaking $26 million in profit. One of many notable milestones in Bowling’s career was his tenure as Managing Director at the flagship property of Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills, California, from November 2017 to October 2018. During his time there, the hotel achieved numerous accolades, including a 5-Star Forbes rating, the number one spot in Condé Nast, and an impressive Salt Score of 84%. Goldberg’s journey into law was inspired by her parents. Her father was a personal injury attorney in Las Vegas, and her mother helped manage the office. CHRISHENA STANLEY Obtaining a successful real estate brokerage in mul-
tiple cities doesn’t just happen overnight. It takes grit, determination, and an elusive blend of charm, business acumen, and foresight. For Chrishena Stanley, Broker/Owner of STK Property Group, her ability to encompass all of these traits has led to her success after years of hard work. After growing up in Manhattan and witnessing her mother working in real estate herself, Stanley moved to Miami post-college and was soon licensed to practice in 2003. She later moved to California to work on the commercial side of real estate, before heading back to her initial area of concentration, residential. She spent stints at Coldwell and then Engel & Volkers, before ultimately getting her broker’s license and breaking out to start her own firm. STK Property Group currently has a presence in Atlanta and Las Vegas.
Stanley says a typical STK Property Group client is seeking high-end, luxury properties. “They’re purchasing homes as upgrades or remodel upgrades in the luxury market. They typically aren’t first-time home buyers - they tend to be more seasoned, “she says. And with that experience, comes discernment.
Although it might appear Stanley followed in her mother’s real estate footsteps, her path was circuitous at first. She initially pursued an undergraduate degree in Journalism/Communications, working stints at CNN and MTV. She was forced to reevaluate her path, however, when her father passed.
“My clients typically know what they want. On the listing side, they don’t want to leave a dollar on the table, and on the buyers, side, they’re just as savvy,” she laughs. “On both ends, I am working hard to satisfy the client; on the listing side I am working to get them the absolute top dollar, and when they’re buying I am negotiating with them to get ideal value.”
“When [he] passed, it caused me to take a break and step away…I always put myself under a great deal of pressure…” she says.
Chrishena Stanley says the most validating aspect of her chosen career is maintaining relationships with her clients over the years.
After the devastation of losing a parent, one bright spot amidst the darkness was the ability to slow down, reassess her life, and ultimately pursue her real estate license.
“What I really love about this business is that it’s a people business, and I am a people person,” she says. “I have clients who started out buying a studio condo, and now [years later] I’ve seen them through to having family homes, multiple kids and a spouse,” she laughs. “You get to knowing they trust you, and it creates a great bond. You’re truly helping them with their best investments.”
“Yes, my mom was in it, and I [kind of] fell into it….and now I can’t imagine doing anything else.”
In addition to her Real Estate career and earlier positions at MTV and CNN, Stanley has appeared on WEtv’s “Selling It in the ATL” (2015), a docuseries focusing on the lives of seven women in the Atlanta real estate industry and their exploits as movers and shakers in the market. “I loved having that experience,” Stanley says. “It granted me an opportunity to [further] see how production worked, on the TV side of it.” If the opportunity came up again, she says she’d love to do a show that was even more real estate focused, with maybe less drama for the cameras. “Negotiating contracts, showcasing the legal end of it…I feel like that concept could really relate to and engage viewers,” she says. As to the future of STK Property Group, Stanley says she wants to continue to splice her time between Miami and Las Vegas, steadily maintaining and building her business clientele in both areas.
“I am very selective about who I work with, but I’d love to grow my brokerage,” she says. In her spare time, Stanley enjoys giving back to her communities. She enjoys volunteering with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Las Vegas, as well as Habitat for Humanity. She says she looks forward to giving back more. When she isn’t working or volunteering, she enjoys travel, time with friends, and exercise with her husband and dogs.
