REcreation Los Angeles, CA With an interdisciplinary group of four, involving architects and landscape architects, we tested a comprehensive zoning code revision for the entire district of South Park. My team collaborated in analyzing the site, generating a narrative, and developing a master plan that revitalized South Park by emphasizing an active lifestyle that complimented the Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment District where outdoor recreation stimulated not only the streets, but also the unexploited alleyways.

Emerging beatbox New York, NY Human Value: Enlightenment Hip-hop emerged from the slums in New York as a way of expressing political views. Through its evolution into a culture, the hiphop culture gained attributes that enlightens people and creates a sense of wonder about the surrounding environment. Hip-hop is composed of four main types of art dancing, rapping, dj’ing, and graffiti that are still expanding today. The proposed site will act as an art institute that will enlighten its users about the hip hop culture.

Cultivation cove Covina, C A The cultivation cove’s design is a geographical interpretation of what gave way to the name Covina. The gardens ascending and descending plot elevations form visual contours and create a meandering path similar to a cove’s topography. Covina was named because of the cove shape it created along the San Gabriel Mountains, as well as the vines that early settlers had planted. To honor this name, the garden will also display its own grape vineyards in the center of the cove and will also contain an orange orchard to strengthen Covina’s agricultural history.
