I am an enthusiastic, self-driven and hardworking person, always ready to listen and learn from others, but also encouraged to lead work teams. I am continuously looking for enrichment oportunities and new challenges in the desining field or any task related to architecture. Throughout my academic career I have also worked outside the architectural ambit thus being able to develope new aptitudes. From a commercial field to event planning I have substantially improved my communication and leadership skills. I currently live in Madrid but I am willing to travel and relocate for the job. Abroad experiences of any kind have always been essential for me. They have allowed me to expand my knowledge and my English proficiency, but they have also given me greater determination, flexibility and creativity in problem solving. I believe in a multidisciplinary approach of architecture that uses every asset to deliver a purposeful and professional design. I look forward to work in an environment that pushes me outside my current limits and exposes me to new situations and systems.

1 Tidal Huts | Resurgence of Tidal Mills Bay of Cรกdiz, Spain Remains of a forgotten historical heritage, the ruins of tide mills in Cadiz have prevailed for centuries, lost within the marshes of the bay. They are vestiges of a self-sufficient complex system that was key for the development and growth of the cities in this area. The aim of this project is to recover the entity of these essential places, using the remaining consolidated structure and location of these mills to generate a new livable system. This built footprints are the inspiration for a shelter network, a contained architecture that evokes the past rhythm and liveliness of the tide mills, and eventually restores the human-landscape relationship these places once had. They are built from a 2 piece combination. A concrete platform and wall, which contains all facilities (washroom, kitchen, heating system, machinery....) and a timber structure that creates the livable space for up to three people depending on its geometry. This timber structure includes several mechanisms that allow the travellers to inhabit this small space in the most efficient way. They are also the way in which the inside space relates with the surrounding landscape. Lastly, a series of simple-construction gadgets are design for the exterior space, making unique each site and providing the vast environment with human scale devices to live it to its fullest potential.
Mill
Machinery that utilizes water, wind or any other kind of power source to drive a mechanical process such as grinding, crushing hammering.
Hut
A small simple construction located in remote places and used by explorers and travellers as a temporary or seasonal shelter and usually related to a fire source.

2 The Nobel Foundation Research Institute Kastellhollmen, Stockholm Kastellhollmen is one of the many islands in Stockholm. Tiny in size but prominent in presence from Gamla Stan, today remains as a forgotten and underutilized place. It is connected to Skeppsholmen by a small bridge and also approachable by ferry or small boats. It is the perfect location for a Research Institute for The Nobel Foundation. A residential building that will host long term researchers and temporary guests coming into the city. The need to fit large conference and event spaces and also small and private rooms is a challenge for a project in this tiny islandt. The idea of edge, of seeing and being seen, of a horizontal landscape, and the contrast between busy and instrospective needs are the basis for this project. Also, the nordic natural ligh, completely horizontal, becomes a main issue that will define the design. The building consists on a serie of assymetrical timber trusses that, facing the water, create an inclined roofing alternating slopes so that the negative spaces between adjacent bays becomes a natural light source for the inside. This rhythm continues on the front elevation alternating opaque surfaces with top to bottom windows. The rooms are located on the attic space as if they were hermit spaces, creating instrospective places perfect for research work. In contrast the main floor is concieved as a flowing open space where visitors can socialize and participate of the surrounding landscape.

3 Guggenheim Museum Helsinki, Finland South Harbour in Helsinki is a bay immediately next to the center of the city. The greatest in Finland, and therefore a main entrance and a prominent site. It is bordered by massive square buildings. The site proposed for this museum is a large esplanade along the waterline and next to Olympia Terminal, the cruises entrance to the city. With this project, a new character appears in the harbour. A building with such a scale that ties in with its surrounding architecture. As a museum it contains great exhibition spaces, but also a covered atrium with a see-through faรงade that allows the visitors to become part of the landscape and the city even in the coldest days of the year. This atrium plays a positive-negative role with 4 different spaces: 3 exhibition rooms and an auditorium. In contrast to a pure geometrical exterior, the inside movement is a fluid space where new sightlines appear as we move. With four different platforms this atrium space can be lived from every floor. All facilities, private spaces, warehouses, etc, are located inside the skin of these interior concrete structure, so that the rest of the space becomes, if featured in any way, potential exhibition space. The entrance to the building through its North faรงcade creates a new exterior space that highlights the connection of the building with the water.

4 What if? | Tsunami Manifesto Barrio del Pilar, Madrid .El Barrio del Pilar is a superblock developed in the 1950’s as a result of speculative building that has proven to be a failure in quality living. It consist on 48 buildings. Some of them have been demolished and some remain but quite degraded. In this context, the proposal is to design a viable regeneration plan for this forgotten neighborhood. But, is this idea itself even realistic? Madrid has it’s rhythm, it grows fordward, rarely looks back if not for gentrification. What could be the expectations for this neighbourhood to be re-deveolped? Probably none. It seems that the only viable chance is a catastrophe. A sudden disaster that drags the attention towards this superblock. This project is a Manifesto to denounce that society only cares about this kind of problems if they, somehow, appear in the media. A Tsunami shakes reality, putting in value new relationships among inhabitants and a new architectural outcome. A theorical proposal to criticize the organization of public and housing spaces in the city always as a result of speculation and lucrative construction.

5 Built Landscapes | Centre of Interpretation Guardamar del Seguro, Alicante On the occasion of the recent discovery of ruins that belong to the Rabita Caliphate (Xth century) and the Phoenician city of Fontera (VIII century BC to VI) in Guardamar del Segura, Alicante, the project proposes a center for visitors, reception and interpretation of the ruins. These archeological remains are located in an area of great landscape value, and currently belong to a natural protected environment bounded nu the mouth of the Segura river, on the north of the town of Guardamar. The project is located on both sides. ephemeral structure that hosts museological storage, research and management. The scaffolding structure reinforces the temporary character and respects de immediate environment, as it merges with the surrounding pine forest landscape.
