The Concrete Manufacturers Association (CMA) is the primary representative of the precast concrete industry. Now in its 46th year, it initiates standards in close cooperation with StanSA and collaborates with its members in developing new products and services. CORROSiON iNSTiTUTE
The Corrosion Institute (CorriSA) serves those responsible for combating corrosion: scientists, engineers, anti-corrosion contractors and purveyors of corrosion resistant materials, as well as industrialists seeking to prolong life or preserve equipment. The interests of the Institute embrace the evaluation of a vast range of materials, including both metallic and non-metallic construction materials and corrosion protection methods. The South African Institute of Building Designers (SAIBD) is a well experienced Institute and a fully recognized voluntary organisation, into which any architectural practitioner is welcome. The members are now made up of draughts persons to architects and from architectural practice owners to individual architectural employees. They are concerned with their member’s involvement in attaining CPD points and climbing the architectural ladder of achievement. As well as being an ever present body of knowledge, to assist their members in advice and problem solving.

The SACPCMP was established to regulate and promote specific Built Environment Management Professions and is a juristic person established by the Project and Construction Management Professions Act (Act No.48 of 2000) “to provide for the registration of professionals, candidates and specified categories in the project and construction management professions; to provide for the regulation of the relationship between the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions and the Council for the Built Environment; and to provide for matters connected therewith”.
