There are now almost 100 thousand children deprived of parental care in Ukraine, according to unofficial figures it could be as high as 160 thousand. The children mainly live in state institutions: Baby Homes, children’s homes, educational and specialised school-orphanages, etc. ‘Hope and Homes for Children’ is a registered charity working in 12 countries in Central and Eastern Europe and Africa.
