Policies & Procedures

DNY Distributors would like to thank each and every one of our valued and new customers for your ongoing business and support. As a friendly reminder, please observe the following policies and procedures that allow us to serve you as efficiently as possible.

Order Deadline

Please keep in mind that the deadline to place your order is 3pm the day prior to your delivery. Any order received after the 3pm deadline may not be delivered the following day, although we will try. This allows the warehouse ample time to prepare your orders accurately. If there is any question regarding your scheduled delivery day, please contact your DNY Distributors representative.

Order Minimum For free deliveries, DNY Distributors requires a minimum of $250 (excluding drinks). Orders that do not meet the minimum will be subject to a freight delivery fee.

Terms of Payment

Please abide by the terms of payment as they appear on the invoice. For C.O.D. deliveries, all accounts must have the funds ready for the driver or shipment upon delivery, as they are on a timely schedule. For all Net accounts, DNY Distributors requires a credit application. If the account is consistently late with payments, credit terms and credit limit may be reviewed and changed. DNY Distributors accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

Returned Product

DNY Distributors will not pick up any returned items, unless there is a Return Authorization form. All returns must be made no later than 90 days of purchase. All products must be returned in their original packaging. DNY Distributors will need to know the date of purchase, the invoice number, and the reason for returning the product. There is a 15% restocking fee to all returns. Also, certain manufacturers have their own return policy which you must return product directly to their customer service reps, not to DNY Distributors. Only credit is given on returns, no cash or credit card refunds.

Expired Products

DNY Distributors does not accept expired product or short coded products. It is your responsibility to rotate your stock. Any other product must be discussed with your DNY Distributors representative. Discontinued items and closeout discounted items may not be returned.

Shortages on Orders

DNY Distributors double checks their orders; however, problems do arise. If you have a shortage, please double check the shipment and boxes a second time. If you cannot find the products, you must call within 24 hours of receiving the order. Products that are not available for shipment are not placed an a backorder status.

Returned Checks

Any check returned because of insufficient funds will be charged a $35 service fee. In addition, the account will revert to ‘Prepaid Only’ or “Cash Only” until a credit review. If orders are returned back to DNY Distributors when on C.O.D., the accounts will be reverted to ‘Prepaid Only’ status and charged for the delivery fee..

Cooler Program

DNY Distributors on occasion will provide a cooler to a qualifying account, which must meet strict criteria. All products inside DNY Distributors coolers must be ordered from DNY Distributors. Any accounts not meeting the minimum case requirements, or is found to have products in the coolers not purchased from DNY Distributors will have their cooler removed.
