Compiled for Drops of Grace Young Living Essential Oils Usage Facebook Page Questions contact thentherewasjoy@gmail.com Essential Oil Recipes AROUND THE HOUSE Thieves Spray • 2 oz. dark glass spray bottle • 1 tsp. organic witch hazel (or Vodka) • 10-­‐15 drops of Young Living Thieves oil • Almost 2 oz. of distilled water In your clean spray bottle, add 10-­‐15 drops of your Thieves oil. Next add 1 tsp. of witch hazel (or vodka). Then pour distilled water into bottle until full. Put on your spray top and use as you see fit. That’s it! Citrus Air Freshener: makes one 4oz bottle • 1.5 oz vodka / or Witch Hazel • 15 drops citrus fresh • 1-­‐2oz. distilled water to fill Put vodka and essential oils in GLASS spray bottle Fill with distilled water leaving room for the sprayer. Close container and shake 10-­‐15 seconds. According to Higley's Reference Guide for Essential Oils, many of the oils in this blend are strong antiseptics and would work well for killing airborne bacteria. Citrus fresh includes orange, tangerine, mandarin, grapefruit, lemon and spearmint essential oils. You could swap the oil out for another favorite scent but the citrus ones are my favorite. Dishwasher Pods • 2 cups washing soda 2 cups Borax 3/4 cup white vinegar 1/2 cup sea salt 6 drops Orange EO Mix together and pack very firmly into ice cube tray. Only fill 3/4 full or will not fit into dishwasher compartment! Let them sit and dry for 24 hours. Pop out of tray and store in jar. Use when ready Dishwasher Powder: • 2 cups Baking Soda 2 cups Borax 2 cups Washing Soda 6 drops Purification 6 Drops Orange EO Use 1/8 cup per load. Use vinegar in the rinse compartment as a rinse agent to help prevent residue. Garbage disposal cleaner • Freeze in ice cube trays Thieves cleaner (30oz water to 1oz cleaner)
