Chrome Will Pin Do Not Track (DNT) Feature

Google finally added the settings Do Not Track (DNT) for its browser, Chrome. But Google said the DNT feature will began to be launched at the end of this year. Google reveals, this step is performed to honor the agreements made with the White House. “We do this to honor the DNT agreement reached industry with White House earlier this year,” said Google spokesman Rob Shilkin, as reported by Tech Radar, Wednesday (09/26/2012). “For that, we made this arrangement in all our Chromium developer channel. So, DNT will be available in future versions of Chrome at the end of this year,” he added. Users can use the DNT setting to send automatically requests to all websites. Thus, through the DNT, the user can prevents third parties such as advertisers, to track them when using the internet. Previously, Microsoft also has pinned DNT as the default option in Internet Explorer 10 and Firefox since 2009.
