Curiosity, the robot was created for cruise mars mission successfully landed and capture scene and take pictures the surface of Mars. Scientists say the surface of Mars has a contour that is not different from the earth. Reported by Nbcnews, Friday (08/10/2012), the first image from best camera on NASA’s rover Curiosity, documenting the landscape of Mars is reminding the scientists with the surface on earth. “The first impression you get is how this can seem like the earth’s surface, seen from the landscape,” said scientist John Grotzinger. Scientists say, Curiosity been placed in the Mojave Dessert in California, which is less than 100 miles from the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena. Mission manager Jennifer Trosper said, approximately 100 megabytes of data has been received from the Curiosity today. Data received is considered show rapid growth, especially in the spacecraft’s antenna. Scientists also have made the milestone by developing camera pole on the Curiosty with a height of 1.1 meter which gives viewpoint 2.1 meters above the surface of Mars. Cruise mars mission cost $ 2, 5 billion brings high-resolution camera navigation system embedded in Curiosity, known as Navcam. In addition it is also equipped with two cameras imaging Mastcam system and laser for experimental rocks analysis, called ChemCam. One of Navcam picture shows the shadow of pole camera to the surface of Mars around the rover. The photo also shows part of Curiosity hardware that is located in the front.Read More on http://www.technonewspaper.com Related Posts Asteroid Could caused Global Warming on Mars
