Firefox 16 Users Asked To Downgrade
Mozilla confirms it has attracted Firefox 16 of the official site. Although only just launched this week, the company was forced to withdraw due to safety concerns. “The vulnerability allows malicious sites potential to determine the website users who have visited and have access to the URL or the URL parameters,” said the company as of the company’s blog on Thursday (10/11/2012). Mozilla adds, vulnerabilities occur for those users who have done the update and install Firefox 16 to their computing devices. For Firefox 16 users, the companiy has done handling by posting the Firefox version 15.0.1 and requires users to downgrade. The company is still investigating the issue of vulnerability contained in the browser application. Meanwhile, Mozilla has recently offered an alpha version of Firefox 18 that can be downloaded. In which, the browser offers support interface for Windows 8 “Modern” user.
