Megaupload founder, Kim Dotcom, plans to launch a replacement for the website which was closed due to copyright issues. Unfortunately, Kim was reluctant to reveal details about the new Mega and Megabox projects are nearing completion. Reported by the Telegraph, Monday (10/15/2012), Kim Dotcom announced the “new Mega” via Twitter account. “Quick update on the new Mega: Code 90% done. Servers on the way. Lawyers, Partners & Investors ready. Be patient. It’s coming” wrote Dotcomm. He said the New Megaupload will have one-click encryption option feature to move data, and run on server outside of the United States (U.S.). Dotcomm Tweets on Twitter managed to get the reaction from Twitter users. When asked about fears of “new Mega” will suffer the same fate with Megaupload, Dotcomm replied “Impossible. Believe me! “. In addition to the new Megaupload, Dotcomm will launch Megabox later this year. He said Megabox service users can download music for free if they agree on some ads. Disclosed Dotcomm, 90 percent of the revenue will be given to the artist. Not only allows users to upload their music collection, but a promotional video on YouTube posted by Dotcomm indicates that Megabox would take advantage of social media tools to show trends.
