Motorola Wins Patent Against Microsoft
Mobile phone manufacturer, Motorola, obtain a rare victory against the software giant, Microsoft, in a patent case in the German court on Friday. Reported from Gadgetndtv, Sunday (10/07/2012), the regional court in Mannheim decided that Motorola Mobility, which is a unit of Google, did not infringe Microsoft patent, which allows applications to run on different handsets. Germany has become a “battleground” in the patent wars among mobile phones manufacturers, computer tablets and operating systems. This is because settlement through the German court relatively cheaper and faster than the other jurisdiction. Microsoft has won three patent case against Motorola in Germany.
