This is the Biggest Mistake Facebook Founder, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said his biggest mistake in a public interview. Zuckerberg said his biggest mistake is making a big bet on HTML5 for its mobile applications. Facebook is one of the first major companies to embrace HTML5, and not just as a base for the mobile web experience, but also for iOS and Android apps. “The biggest mistake we make as a company is making a bet too much on HTML5 as opposed to the native, Zuckerberg said, as quoted by Mashable, Wednesday (09/12/2012). Facebook does have a focus on HTML5 over the last two years. Still, Zuckerberg said his company see HTML 5 as a much better solution to give Facebook experience for tablet. But the benefits of cross-platform development, he said, was not enough to offset the weakness of HTML5, which pulls data slower than native code, and less stable. That is the reason Facebook overhauled the iOS app last month. Thus, Zuckerberg said, Facebook will focus on enhancing the mobile experience natively on iOS, as well as native applications for Android. But that does not mean Facebook is not going to do some projects with HTML5, especially mobile site for iOS and Android devices.Read More on http://www.technonewspaper.com Related Posts Facebook Founder Being Cameo in Video Documentary
