Jacob Whitehead started logging part time in 2010 in the winter when we got laid off from construction work. We went full time in 2014. By 2016 juggling the schedules of 3 sons and my wife who travels a lot 4 months of the year we turned our focus to the sawmill which keeps me close. We went fulltime milling in 2016, we still cut timber when a job fits. It's hard work but I enjoy it. It's a new adventure every day so it never gets old.

The Missing Man Trio Paul Foreman and Jo Long play a mixture of folk, bluegrass, country, gospel or in many circles, Americana music. We just call it "Crabgrass, it’s not as good as ‘bluegrass but it’s better than dirt." They currently reside in Fair Grove MO, Paul is originally from Farmington MO and Jo is from Freeport, IL. They met in Wichita, KS in 1999, and their musical collaboration began at the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, KS. To contact us visit our website,
